in the heart of Asia Minor . Atatourk in his speech at the national assembly of Ancyra said ,,,,
Do not believe for a moment that we won the battle against the brave Greek army ,, we won the leadership of Greece and their bad decisions in to bringing King Konstantin back to Greece . The route gentleman from now on will be peace and love between our two nations .
After this speech he always respected and worked hard for peace with Greece ,, he was not stupid ,,he knew that he won a victory

from wikipedia ''The horon (Greek: Horos [masculine noun, singular form, nominative]), which derives from the Greek word choros (Greek: (ο) Χορός) meaning dance in both ancient and modern Greek, Turkish: Horon, is a dance style found in the Black Sea region, now modern Turkey. The dances called Horon derived from the Greek culture of the area and are circular in nature, each characterized by distinct short steps. HORON or the round dance is a typical folk dance of the Black Sea...

    Turkish independence from what exactly?

  • @bipkatr
    @bipkatr 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    it doesnt matter...
At Byzantine times, there was many turkic people, who lived together with helenic peoples and fight together against the enemies.
uzes, pechenegs, bulgars, kumans were always elite soldiers in Byzantine armies - of course before turks(Seljuks and Ottomans). After that they fight for their brothers.
Thats why you loose the Anatolia.
    from wikipedia "Battle of Manzikert"
So, its no sense that "horon" is greek word.
You greeks, didnt keep this "horon", but we(turks) did.

In 1070 Alparsland was beaten 3 times by Diogenes Romanos in Cilicia , on the 4th time Manzikert 1071 he was betrayed by his Cuman horse contingent who at the critical stage of the battle went to Selchuks , at this moment his Norse mercenaries' left him while his Nephew, General Doukas , spread the word that he was dead , and took the army to Konstantipol to declare himself Emperor .
So u see my friend ,, it was not the bravery of Alparslan that won this battle

IS A MODERN IDEA , that started after Ataturks time .
Wars , strife , and killings , are not the measure of civilization , History is teaching us that nomads who invated and conquered a civilized nation were themselves absorbed and became part of this civilisation living just a trace of who they were in the gins of the total population . Take an example of Russia ,Hungary , Bulgaria , they were Conquered by nomadic tribes , this tribes at times imposed their language on the locals ,,

It is true ,,, at the beginning ANTAT helped Greece , not with soldiers but with supplies ,, when VENIZELOS lost the election in Greece , the new government , GOUNARIS ,, brought back King Konstantin, against the wishes of Antat , as a result they stopped all economic help and military supplies , France made a separate peace in Cilicia giving all the heavy guns to Kemal( THIS SAME GUNS were used later at the battle of Tomlour Pinar against the Greeks ) . Italy as well made a separate peace

This is not true and you know that.
We have never ever problems with pontian people.
And still we have very good relations with them.
Apolas Lermi is a very popular singer.
He sings in turkish and in pontian as well.
And also pontian culture, folk song and so on, are very good saved and loved by turkish people.
Not only the people of pontian roots, but many turks sings pontian folk in pontian language.
Look for Kazim Koyuncu - unfortunately he dead from cancer. He is a turkish.

Giving all of south Anatolia to Kemal selling guns and ammunitions to him !
Russia helped Kemal by providing airplanes and trucks , just before Kemal's attack , the tables had turned in favor of Kemal and this is why at the military conference Fevsi Passa ,Ismet Inonu and Kemal made the decision of attacking . In the mean time , the Greek army was left with out ammunition or food ! Imagine ,, whole units surrendered to Kemal asking only for water and food !!!

Same happened in Anatolia ,, After Manzikert an influx of Persians,Syrians,Arabs, came as immigrants in eastern Anatolia under the military leadership of the Seltchuks ,this immigrants inter mixed with the local population of the Greeks and in order to communicated with each other they used as LINGUA FRANCA the Turkic language , does this makes Anatolians Turks ? Of, curs not ! The Racial majority of western Turkey is Greek ,and the eastern part is Greek,Armenian ,Arabic,Syrian ,Turkic,,

When they moved to Buthinia-Nikomedia area , they had no more than 400 tents ! Say ,,, 5 people to a tent ,,, the total number of this Turks were no more than 2.000 souls !
However ,, the area occupied by them had a Hellenic population of more than 500.000 .This Greeks being dissatisfied by their Emperor in Constantinople (do to shameless taxation ) converted from Christianity and adopted Islam !
Slowly and over time , the same happened in other parts of Anatolia ,and ? that is how

    Yes, they are :)
    Fake nationality?
    Read about:
    Gokturks - 5 century,
    Selchuks - 11 century,
Read about Dawla al Turkiya(nowadays Egypt) - 13 century
Read about Kostas Karamanlis and where his surname come from - Karamanids - 13 century and Khazars - 7 century...
    Or simply read about:
    wikipedia - Timeline_of_the_Turkic_peoples_%28500%E2%80%931300%29
    or
    wikipedia - Turkic_states
Yes, they do speak greek alike language, but greek, spanish, italian, french etc - all of them came from Latin :)

Country fought constantly to liberate the rest of Greece ! It won every time and in every battle against the Ottomans ,, look at the map in 1909 ,, Greece is doubled in size ! Look again in 1920 ,,, Now Greece is 3 times bigger ! AND , NOT ONLY THIS , but Greek soldiers are fighting this time in the heartland of Anatolia ,only 60 kilometers from Ancyra ! You Turks take pride that you won the Greek army , IN REALITY you won the bad Greek diplomacy that left this Army with out food or supplies

You cant understand or you dont want to understand...
People identify themselves as they feeling themselves...
It doesnt matter what they DNA or real roots come from...
Maybe you are not real greek, but if you are feeling as a greek, who can change that?
Ottoman Empire named from Osman Beg, which is a Beylik(lordship, province) of the Selchuk Empire, which named from Selchuk Beg, which is part of Khazar Empire, which named from Khazar Khan, which is a parrt of Gokturk Empire and etc...

  • @bipkatr
    @bipkatr 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    So what?
This is Pontian culture and you have nothing to do with this.
    This culture is Anatolian culture.
    They are our people.
Turks saved and loved this culture as their own.
    Thats why its still alive.
If nowadays in Greece you have this one, this is because of the exchange after Turkish War Of Independence.
Search on youtube for "turkish greek shared"
There you can find many examples.
    Maybe then you will understand.
    Turks loved you.
The problem is in your minds.
We have no problems with you.

why cumans, pechenegs and uzes "betrayed"?
why you did need of them?
    and of armenians also?
maybe because of you are very brave :)
    cumans, uzes, pechenegs, etc,
they "betreyed" because they didnt want to fight against their brothers...
    3 times, 10 times , 100 times :)
not battles, but the end of war is important...
do u remember "Turkish War Of Independence"?
    Greek army won many battles...
    But after Sakarya,
After this one Turks won only a few battles, because the war was won very quickly...

Look at turkish movies and tv serials for people of Black Sea.
    watch?v=otMmB-XWYQo
    watch?v=ifT9ZCtHrVw
Look for Group Karmate, female singer Sevval Sam, Selcuk Balci,
Hulya Polat and many more. They are turkish people from Black Sea region and they also singing both int turkish and pontian.
    Look for "lazca turkuler"
You have many stereotypes about turks.
And many turks have for you.
But we have many shared elements and same kitchen, same character, same way of live.
    Its time to change

Finally ,,, The Greek language stands all alone as an Indo-European branch of this linguistic family of nations !
It has no affiliation what's o ever with Latin or any other European or Asian languages ,,except the fact,, perhaps,,that, from time immemorial this nations take loan words of Greek and use it in they're languages .
A point of fact is ,, u probably think that u are righting to me in Latin ? Not so my friend ,, the letters ur using are the Halkidian form of the Greek alphabet !

AT THAT TIME , ther were no national armies ,, PEOPLE AND ARMIES were divided along religion lines ,
Both . Alparslan and Romanos had contingents of Foederatti ,, in reality it was a war between Christian Anatolia,,,,, against the Muslim world . It is wrong of u ,if you believe that Alparslands army consisted only of Turks . Pechenegs, Cumans , Hazars ,etc etc , were constantly fighting against each other , they had no notion of being Turks cause they were not .

On the 3d day after the fall, he declared himself Caesar of Rum and established Genadios as the Patriarch of all Christians .
At the time of the fall , Ottomans and Greeks RACIALLY WERE THE SAME PEOPLE , the only difference was Religion .

Ask them about their nationality, how they are feel themself - tell them that they are "greek" people :)
But first reserve a hospital before that - be sure, you will need of it.
    So, shut up.
You greek have not culture relation with your ancient brothers.

    There is no "European"...
At ancient times, there is no continent with name Europe, and except Roman Empire, there is no "European" country.
"European" history is all about 1500-2000 years...
Ancient history is Egypt, Middleeast and Asia...
    There is no greek alphabet...
But the turkic(gokturk) alphabet is fact.
    Wikipedia - Old Turkic alphabet
Go and learn history again - not from european, but the chinese, persian, russian etc archives...
Or simply from Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard... studies.
