  • I designed a home office for my husband that tells his story. I took sentimental objects and made them look intentional. I want to break the myth that you can just put objects you love in a room and it will look good. There is a method and a system you need to follow to achieve a professional looking room.
In this video, I will teach you how to create a room start to finish. We will go step by step by step starting with finding an inspiration piece and building off it to create a cohesive color palette. Sid Mcgee inspired this room not just because of his own beautiful office but also his similar personality to my husband. I also teach you how to be brave and use dark colors to create an impact and transform a room. Lastly, I teach you how furniture and fixtures add to overall design concept and how to make sure everything comes together for a high design yet meaningful room.
Almost everything in tis room is custom but if you want details on something email me at julieromandesign@gmail.com so I can point you in the right direction. As always, thank you so much for watching.
    XO

Build the colour pallet from, not off of.
