Waylon’s first wife had a baby daughter (Deanna) out of wedlock, as the result of an affair that she had before her divorce from Waylon. Because they were still married, Waylon did not have to adopt the child. He just claimed the daughter as his own. He supported her fully, just as he did with his other three children by that first marriage - Terry, Buddy, and Julie. Sadly, both Deanna and Julie passed away from cancer shortly after Waylon died. Waylon’s oldest son, Terry, who wrote a great book about his dad two years ago, passed away earlier this year. Waylon is still survived by two sons - Buddy Dean (named after Buddy Holly) and Shooter, his son with Jessi Colter. He is also survived by two daughters - Tomi Lynn, who Waylon adopted with his second wife; and Jennifer, who is Jessi’s daughter with Duane Eddy.
I love jessi.seen her with Waylon in his prime in Charleston w.v.a. 1977 plus buddy Hollis crickets were there.and as always Waylon was ripping on his guitar.not many people can say they seen Waylon in his prime. Tom borman.Jessica is still beautiful..Tom..
