You can take 3 steps with the ball in your hand. You can't lift the ball off the ground with your hand or throw it. You also can't tackle someone off the ball. There are many more things you can't do but that is just a few.

There are also hurling teams in Boston, Raleigh NC, New York, New Jersey, San Francisco, Toronto, Montreal, Orlando, and many other major cities. And it is a growing sport in American universities run by the National Collegiate Gaelic Athletic Association (NCGAA).
Well at least it isn’t half an hour long like the previous abominations, but: 1 - Monotonous delivery of the narration. 2 - Terrible script. Sounds like he’s reading from a textbook or phone directory. 3 - Inappropriate music that adds nothing to the visuals. 4 - Too much irrelevant detail and minutiae. Who is the target audience? Sliothar manufacturers or people who are going to take up the sport? 5 - “It’s also the most spectacular.” Don’t tell me, show me! Just show me the action set to the right music or with a bit of crowd noise and commentary, not with some muted ceili dancing stuff playing in the background. 6 - Scoring system is not explained. Anywhere. 3 points for the ball in the net, 1 point for over the bar. Do you expect the first-time viewer to already know this? If so then why are you making this film? 7 - Too much time spent on lesser-used skills. That can wait until the viewer becomes more familiar with the game, this is supposed to get across the power and excitement of the sport. 8 - Ends on a whimper. No attempt to close the film with anything like a conclusion. This is a bit of an improvement on previous attempts by Croke Park to explain what the games are, but this is still an awful, amateurish embarrassment. Please take it down and either try again or just pass out the links to my videos. I could do better myself, and have done. Numerous times. Previous efforts were worth an F- , this gets a D-.
Eamonn Some of the complaints you have are valid, and could potentially be helpful to the maker of this video. However, in the last part you just shit on the maker calling his video an "amateurish embarrassment" and then tell him how your own videos are far superior. Which, if you ask me, is a total dick move and completely narcissistic.
