I have 4 pairs of RVRC Trousers and my new favourite are the adrenaline jeans wore them on a Snowdon climb last week they were awesome as an alternative to action man style trousers. Great vid awesome review of decent gear 👍
I’ve been undecided which RVRC trousers to get. I’m off to Switzerland for a family holiday and was wondering if the Adreniline jeans would be suitable. Mainly for travel, cities, little hiking and general travel etc
Great review Chris, really helps if considering purchasing. I have two pairs of Revolution Race trousers, Norwand Pro and GP Pro and they are both excellent.
@@luap1983The nordwand are more flexible at the knee pads and better suited for sports and mobility. The GP are better for bushcraft where you need heavy duty.
Hi Chris, Just to let you know that I’ve just received my grey/black pair of these pants down here in Gosford NSW Australia just North of Sydney, it’s too warm here now so will have to wait until our next Winter or hopefully air travel will resume so I can visit my brother in Southport and get some hiking in around the Lancashire moors and Lake District. Always look foreword to your vlogs they are up there with the best, keep up the great work. Cheers, Paul.
Hi Paul, First off thanks MCM outdoors you make some great vids that I tend to lose myself into. Paul, I made an enquiry with revolution race about getting them(pants) delivered to Melbourne, Australia, could I ask how you were able to achieve this as I was told by customer service that they won't send to Australia? Not sure why I mean how hard is it to send by ups or the post?
@@TwilightCinemaNZ I got them sent to my brothers address in UK who then forwarded them on to me here in Australia as I didn’t see any mailing outside of Europe…..
I recently bought a pair because they had a nice discount, only 69 euro for a pair. They are quite long but overall feel really sturdy and the pockets are very practical. I guess the waxing should only be applied in the orange areas, shouldn't it? Can't wait to test them this weekend.
Have to say mate, these are much better value - and I own two pairs of Vidda Pro and the Barents Pro. The Fjällraven prices are becoming ridiculous and beyond a lot of people.
Seen a few people with these now and I've had my eye on them for a while, couldn't find a code for the discount. Great review mate, appreciate the work thats gone into it and thanks for the code, im gonna have to pull the trigger now arent I? Agree with what you said about the Vidda pros. Really heavy money for what they are
I have some of the standard nordwand trousers the only issue I have with them are the opening at the bottom of the trouser leg wish they were a bit wider.are these narrow round the ankle ?
My Vidda Pro's are slightly better in terms of finish - however, at over double the price - it's not worth such an extra, so in my humble opinion - these offer far greater value for money.
Excellent video and well put together mate, look great Keks, I was going to get some but looks like they have an issue with their website atm 🤷♂️ will try again later 👍
@@MCMOutdoors it wasn’t working for about 20 minutes, and I had the same issue direct on their site too.. but within 30 minutes or less I was able to use it 👍
They certainly cut out the wind - in terms of insulting properties, if I were using them in colder weather, I'd probably wear a pair of skin tight leggings under them.
Great trousers.... all the other gear is quality to. I've bought RR gear for a while now and it's quality. However... if you have an option to use Royal Mail for delivery, then take it. UPS have lost 2 parcels in the past for me. Luckily RR are very reputable so the issues were resolved. Oh and btw I had my rusty orange pants for ages now... you copycat 😣😂😂

Reviews like this are actually very helpful. Getting more ideas about how to plan my pack 👍
Thanks Dylan
Was waiting for a review of these - awesome stuff. Treated myself to a pair, in ‘espresso’!
Nice!

Cheers Joe - they get the job done and great value.
Out of the 2 pairs you own joe what would you say are the best?
@@luap1983 They’re both equally good but perhaps prefer the Norwand I think.
@@joehusband8479 Thank you for your reply mate! I’m looking at the ones what turn into shorts, also I like the look of the Norwand! 👍👍🎅

Yes, leave the stretchy parts - not dissimilar to Keb trousers by Fjallräven 👍 very good value these.
Decent kecks ! not sure i’d swap my Vidda Pro , but these do look like a close second

Love these, but would they be suitable for travelling to Switzerland for City, walking, touristy and travelling? Or overkill
They would be fine! Nice, comfy trousers 👍

No worries 👍

Very very detailed look into these outdoor trouser. A great price also even before the discount. I’ll have a look into a pair mate 👍
Cheers Ant! Get on them!
Hi Chris, great review 😊💝🏴 Xxxx
Thanks for the beer Paula and thank you for watching 🏕️😊👍 x
Jut bought a pair after watching your review. 👍🏻. Had to tell the misses they only cost me £35😉
Great strategy! Enjoy!
Great review! Looks like they are made from a slightly thicker material so good for the cooler months. Tempted! :) W
Yes they're pretty robust and durable I've found - the venting assists in hot weather too - I can vouch for that!
Could be exactly what I’ve been looking for. I’ll jump on a pair of these soon👍
Enjoy, thanks for watching 👍
We have been using norwand pro pants for about a year now. The tornado fleece is a great addition.
Great trousers aren't they pal
Great review!! And great looking bit of kit
Cheers dude - cracking keks!
Great review. Nice looking trousers.
Some of the stitching looks abit iffy.
Nothing wrong with the stitching on mine mate, thanks for watching.
Thinking of these in the current Black Friday Sale. How did you find the sizing? Finding their size charts a bit difficult to get my head around! 🙈
I think I went for large in the end - I'm a 34 / 36 waist ! ATB
Great little review mate. Took advantage of that 20% off, nice one
Good stuff mate, hopefully you enjoy them and get some great adventures in them.
I have a pair of similar green ones - which I've used for fishing.
Decent pants mate!
I have some of the standard nordwand trousers the only issue I have with them are the opening at the bottom of the trouser leg wish they were a bit wider.are these narrow round the ankle ?
They're narrower than some other trousers I have but go around the top of my Meindl Bhutan MFS boots fine - so no issues whatsoever.
Had the same boots with me for years. Absolutely top quality gear, so trust your opinion on these!
Great boots aren't they 👍
@@MCMOutdoors what boots are those mate?
Meindl Bhutan MFS
Hi their. I considering buying these. But what are the sizes like? Am a 37-38 waist. What size should I get? Large or xlarge. Plus Am a short leg.
XL mate 👍
@@MCMOutdoors thank you
How would you rate these compared to the Fjallraven Vidda Pro trousers? I’ve just bought my fourth pair of those

Chris in his pants....what's not to love!!🤪🤪 Top watch as always 👍- T🙂
Haha, waiting for Ant in his budgie smugglers!
Excellent review!
Thanks 👍
Do you mind saying how tall you are? Im stuck between ordering the regular/short trousers?
6ft / 182cm
like the colour of these ,heard a few reviews there good pants
Yes mate, I'm very happy with mine

Can they withstand heavy rain, or does water get through?
Shower proof only. They dry quick though
@MCMOutdoors Thanks, I'll have to go for the RVRC GP Pro Expedition they're 100% waterproof, but cost £160 🤮 didn't want to spend that much though.
Are this good for summer?
Excellent - good ventilation
Need to ask are they comfy if temperature is below 0 Celsius?
They aren't designed for insulation - if I need warmth, I wear a base layer under them 👍
@@MCMOutdoors thx for quick reply
Just ordered mine with the 20% off👌
Makes sense pal - enjoy them!
these are the best darned trousers i ever bought
Good to hear! 👌
MCM20 code not applicable??
I clearly state in the description that the code is only valid from 25th to 29th August 2021
is this pair of trousers good for cold temperature and wind?

Just picked these up in green and black off Amazon for £52 😄

I'm still waiting on a email back from them shoddy stitching, not happy

Im going to be devil’s advocate, how can you review something and give a discount for said kit? Conflict of interest?
Quite easily 🤣 I wear it, use it and say what I think about it. Lots of brands provide discount codes - would you rather pay full price?
Blimey...not sure about this. Ads are everywhere nowadays..
as are influencers
I was sent the trousers to review - you therefore have to mark the video as an ad to comply with TH-cam rules.
