His live performances are equal in sound and quality to his recorded music. “Delilah” actually references the story of Sampson and Delilah from the Bible. I’ve never heard of this gentleman, but really enjoyed the song and his voice. He’s no Avi Kaplan, but he has a really interesting vibrato and rasp to his voice. This is almost tribal sounding. I’d definitely enjoy hearing more from him.
He's mainly been doing solo stuff for the last few years but his earlier music was with a band called "Shawn James and The Shapeshifters". Definitely recommend looking into them!
