Hello Julien, There are a lot of videos on arbitrage, but they are always theoretical. Especially when DEX are involved. My question is very simple: Do you do arbitrage? Have you ever borrowed 1 million with a flashloan and taken a profit ? Actually, in theory we win a lot, in practice you never win.
if he was profitable doing flashloan, arbitrage , quant trading he wont waste a minute on TH-cam. It is the classic route, like fx trader trying to trade, being at loss for months than switching their activities to " teaching you how to make 10k by trading FX"
He said it could make you millions, he didn't say it made HIM millions. He stated a possibility not a guarantee. (It's not easy, he was just saying if you get lucky or if you're REALLY good you could make millions.)
arbitrage is still probably something a normal person can't do everyone can use flashloans so by the time you try and do arbitrage someone else would probably already taken advantage of the abritrage opportunity the chance that you or whatever bot you setuo actually manages to get this trough is pretty low and the transactions will probably just fail => you would just waste money from transaction fees.

I wonder why someone with a good bot strategy and code should make a paid course to explain his tricks. Either the bots are not working well and not making any money or the course is really profitable to sell. I do crypto bots myself and I'd never do a course to spoil my tricks since my strategy is working.
There is a misunderstanding. I don't sell a ready-to-use trading bot that magically makes money. Instead, I teach the process of building a trading bot, how the trading bot works, and to make it profitable, you probably need to customize it after.
It's the same concept with crypto as it was during the gold rush. Yeah, there is gold in them hills, but if everybody and their grandma is in the mix then it's more profitable to sell them the tools to compete with.

Below is an example where we borrow WETH on Uni to sell for DAI on Sushi and return DAI to Uni (you are doing a multi-asset flash swap, returning a different one than borrowed) You specify the path to be borrowed asset => non-borrowed (WETH => DAI) on lines 53-54. token is WETH on line 56. on line 60-64 you get "the input amount of WETH you need given the output amount of WETH you borrowed". the path should be reversed here, you really want to get "the input amount of DAI given you need given the output amount of WETH you borrowed" (amountToken). as a result line 74 is also broken because you are specifying for it to transfer amountRequired amount of DAI, but amountRequired does not represent this. Am I tripping here?

obviously the code does not work, the deadline is even incorrectly set, there are a few more bugs too. Not sure if eattheblocks intentionally leave the bugs in to test us. You need to understand the concept, fix the bugs and try it on a forked chain before putting real money in.
Flashloans are a great innovation to capitalize and take profit from arbitrage. But my logic says that if there is already people monitoring continuously for arbitrage opportunities + the possibility of having almost unlimited capital via flashloans, then wouldn't the nature of this fact erase automatically any arbitrage opportunity since all opportunities would be taken instantly?
I believe if this happen, the market will be in stable, equilibrium environment where prices will be the same across exchange. no arbitrage opportunities anymore

the catch is that you're a year late and there are scripts that don't even do the heavy lifting and just watch for your flash loan and replicate it at a higher gas price. you both end up paying all the gas, but theirs gets the profits too
You can get front run. There are bots who sit out there waiting in the Ethereum mempool (look up “Mempool is a dark forest”) and can intercept your transaction, pay the higher gas fee to the miner, and take out your address and replace it with there’s so that they’re tx goes through instead. This is called front running. There are ways to possibly slide your transactions through undetected but it gets sophisticated
This could change this summer with the EIP1559 release, frontrunners will not be able to frontrun u as transaction fees will be the same for everyone. So miners won't prioritize frontrunners, true order should be respected, if i understood correctly what EIP1559 will be there should be no more frontrunners, they could copy and intercept your transaction but going after you would be meaningless But i don't know how it is working with BSC for the fees part ? Are frontrunning possible there too ?

You can compare the selling price with buying price and if selling price is lower you can revert the contract execution.

Hey can i do the step 3 and 4 more than 1 time in the same transaction? as example i got this 2M selled it for 2,2M and now i still have 2,2M can i repeat this process- buy for 2,2M... sell.... and so and like 10 Times in 1 Transaction? and first after that i pay back? That would be grate because i dont need to pay so often some percents for the borrow when i pay back.
There’s a high chance of getting frontrun and you still have to pay gas so be careful folks.

the catch is that you're a year late and there are scripts that don't even do the heavy lifting and just watch for your flash loan and replicate it at a higher gas price. you both end up paying all the gas, but theirs gets the profits too
You can get front run. There are bots who sit out there waiting in the Ethereum mempool (look up “Mempool is a dark forest”) and can intercept your transaction, pay the higher gas fee to the miner, and take out your address and replace it with there’s so that they’re tx goes through instead. This is called front running. There are ways to possibly slide your transactions through undetected but it gets sophisticated

This could change this summer with the EIP1559 release, frontrunners will not be able to frontrun u as transaction fees will be the same for everyone. So miners won't prioritize frontrunners, true order should be respected, if i understood correctly what EIP1559 will be there should be no more frontrunners, they could copy and intercept your transaction but going after you would be meaningless
But i don't know how it is working with BSC for the fees part ? Are frontrunning possible there too ?
