As a kid I don't know why else this game used to give me the creeps, I never managed to complete the first mission lol 😂
Same 😄 I think because the high stress factor of the missions. After 2D games the 3D enemies was scary af. Probably these games designed for the adult players.
It's the pixels and colour scheme
Medal of honor was my fave ps1 game but the ps graphics give it a creepy vibe that somehow worked great for that game, medievil could never be replicated again but less said about this game
I used to rent this game a lot, my mom just ended up buying it, rip mom
This was the first PlayStation game I ever tried. Never owned the console until buying it second or third hand around 6-7 years ago. I remember my cousin owning it in 2000 or so when we had just hit our teens and I was blown away by the graphics and sound. I just miss that era so much.
Thanks mom, dad, lil bro and lil sis for the memories. We'll never have another such adventure anymore but deep down I'm grateful for what we had. Sorry for being such a loser all this while.
In the first stage we can see that the guards bodies are connected via bluetooth to the alarm. When they get shot, the alarm sounds immediately
I’ve got to the ps5 and I still really miss my ps1 and games
The casino part is one of the most frustrating thing back then
It really was. And back then it wasn't easy to look up how card games worked.
As an adult backjack is the easiest thing ever. But as a kid I had to get my dad to do it cause I didnt know what the hell was going on haha

Damn this looks good for a ps1 game. Quite an upgrade from Tomorrow Never Dies.
I never completed the first mission, I use to get to the suitcase and only until today I realised I should have gone to the window... not follow the girl out the room
When I was a kid, I had a pirate CD with the 3 ps1 007 games(this, tomorrow never dies and Racing. Every copy of this CD used to crash in the end of the first stage. In that times, I never saw the stage 2
So many good memories . Used to play this one a lot back in the day , and the Tomorrow Never Dies game too . The blackjack mission used to be my game over , had to ask my cousin or my brother to get through that part for me 🤣
FYI - This game shares the same composer as Agent Under Fire & uses the ID Tech 2 engine before the cancelled TWINE PS2 & PC port upgraded to ID Tech 3, used in Agent Under Fire.
I forgot how badly the textures wobbled around on the PlayStation
I had no idea they made a ps1 version of this game
@@peaceandwealthseeker4504 imo. I ps1 version didn't even have multiplayer
@@Chrissaiyanjojoknight that's what I'm saying, yes. Is there a gas leak in here?
Looking at this in 2023 to figure out how to smash the window in the first mission 😂
@@lucysnowball9198 well there is a light that blink on it to let you know
I never finished it, I was so young and didn't know English at that time, I was like 9, I had to play it again and finish it
I played on 007 which i believe to be Hardcore mode, and I did the task of not being detected on any map...so you didnt kill anyone until late game, and you had to stay stealthy all the time. You lost if you killed anyone not needed for the quest, and you lost if your full hp dropped to zero and you had to restart the entire game. Not to mention limited ammo.
It's funny the sound design of the game makes level seem like it's outside even the indoor missions
I remember as a kid being disappointed with bonds outings on the PS1, but when i eventually upgraded to a PS2, i played some excellent bond games indeed. Camt remember their names but they wernt based on the films they told their own stories
Bought a ps1 just before Covid played it a hand full of times. Played this one tonight with my 8 year old. Controller layouts have come a long way. I do like it though bit of a challenge ha
How about a remaster like goldeneye for Xbox
I had this on my PS1 and this is the campaign that I experienced. My brother had it on his N64 (a blue cartridge) and that's what we played multiplayer on (Because...GoldenEye, duh)
The games are so different from each other but I really liked both, the PS1 version is my main though
I remember as a kid I had a theory that games on different consoles were different. My brother said, “no they are the same.” He had The World is Not Enough on his N64 so I just played his and I didn’t ask for one on PlayStation. Watching this video, I was completely right. It looks like an entirely different experience. I kind of want to see if this is on Amazon and play this on my PS2.
This channel is my ASMR. Much love.
I wish my ps1 didn't die from poor maintenance, all these games give me huge nostalgia even if I didn't play most of these (i played the tomorrow never dies one)
retroarch + beetle psx, + CRT filter + zero input delay config. There you go, you won't ever need the real thing again.
Get an abernic 35 xx for 60 bucks I got this on it plays better then the console
@@mufmager In case you haven't looked it up yet, he is talking about Retroarch -emulator, which can emulate almost anything, including PS1 games with visual enhancements.
This is really cool!
Does this game play the original movie title sequence like Tomorrow Never Dies plays? I assume it doesn't play in the Tomorrow Never Dies video for copyright reasons, but I wanna know if it was removed from here too
JEAMES BOND PS1 THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH ALL MISSION V2 "5 2023) 😀😀
Please bring me back to this time
I owned this version back when I first bought a ps1 in 03. I never ended up finishing it, to this day i still think this is an odd & weird game to say the least. (graphics wise)
Blows my mind how the N64 version had better graphics and gameplay and was almost exactly like the movie
I feel like how this version turned out was a result of two things
A. Probably using the same engine as Tomorrow Never Dies but retooling it into a first person shooter, which may explain the *quite* stiff controls.
B. The planned PS2 TWINE game that was done by EA Redwood (later known as Visceral who you may know from a little game franchise called Dead Space) that itself was retooled into Agent Under Fire, so there may have been an awkward back and forth given AUF uses snippets of...well, half this game's heavily looped recorded soundtrack.
and maybe also C. N64 TWINE was done by Eurocom, who went on to make NightFire, widely regarded as the runner-up best 007 game behind GoldenEye. ...Even if I prefer Agent Under Fire myself.
Yep but the N64 was a fair bit more powerful than PS1 so it's hardly surprising when you think about it.
@wizzgamer not all lmao n64 didn't even have intro videos for most games
Good afternoon doctor Arkov
Бронежилет забыл.😅
As a young kid with very little english knowledge and zero blackjack experience, i have no idea how i managed to get past the casino level. xD
I finally found the game that taught me blackjack
The World is not Enough
This would need a remaster, great graphics but a lot of problems, I tried but I didn't even succeed to sit at the table in the casino lol
I love this game
I really loved this game
The PS1 version isn't as good as the N64 version
I miss this game
Music in this game was so nice ❤️❤️❤️
Esa intro Dios 🤤 te amo ps1
64 game was better
They need to remaster these games for ps5
I take it you edited out the movie scenes to avoid claims from MGM and such?
It looks pretty good, I now need to test it 😎
uses to play this game, and if I remember the first mission correctly, you could actually clear that level without gunning down a lot of ppl tbh 😅 and you can avoid the cctv with perfect timing and hiding..
What's the difference between the N64 One and shit huh?(what's the difference? )because I ONLY HAD THE N64 One but i wish i got this when i had a PS2 To play it.
I have played this game when i was a child but i can't get past the first mission
I want to give this a chance but I had this on the N64 and IMO the one on N64 looks better graphically..
I can't get on the balloon it takes off with out me on it
Wow, right off the bat the gameplay is completely different. The N64 version at least attempted to stick close to the movie story but in this one you just run in guns blazing.
looks greate
Proper flash back
I played this when i was an infant lol, I never beat the first mission.
Звук PlayStation это как оргазм.
It looks like that this gamer is Japanese 🇯🇵
Is this better than goldeneye?
PS1 version is worse than N64's. They tried on that other version but they couldn't decide if they wanted an FPS or a full on spy game.
Pessoal vamos ajuda ai ok
where can i get this games
Okay, I'm only at the first level so far but _what the fuck did they do to this level?_ What, the story wasn't exciting enough, so they decided to have you just shoot up a fucking bank just to REACH the guy instead of... actually trying to follow the movie like in the N64 game?
EDIT: Man, until I started watching this, I thought the PS1 game was just an upgraded port or something, but GOD no, this is just a completely different game that happens to be based on the same movie.
thanks handsome bic boi
Crazy how the N64 version was insanely better than this one.. 😂
How is it crazy, N64 was 64 bit and ps1 was half of that
It would have been crazy if the ps1 was renowned as a better game
Well it's better the movies and just only play 007 and some not based from the movies like
007 EVERYTHING OR NOTHING
(But REALLY FIRST)
007 AGENT UNDER FIRE
007 NIGHT FIRE
ANNNNND 007 EVERYTHING OR NOTHING
(and the other one they had on XBOX 360 And PS3 Was bad? Never play But heard of it and didn't compare to EVERYTHING OR NOTHING BUT It was call 007 BLOOD STONE?(Eh look it up again lol 😆so fun 007 games too bad their done and CALL OF DUTY! (The Modern Warfare one's 😎😎😎😎)
А в эту играл особенно затянуло блэк джэк
Is this gamer Japanese or a gamer that is a fan of Japanese things
Looks way better on the n64
Muito bom mesmo
my dad beat this game on ps1.
Why they did not look after RARE WARE alot better i’ll never know.... after Goldeneye, all the Bond games were average... crappy controls and cinematics 🤮
Rare declined to make a follow-up, since they very clearly didn't want to be stuck on someone else's license forever, as successful as it was. That, and supposedly MGM went ham on trying to restrict some creative freedoms using the license for games after GoldenEye (that weird thing about no blood and limited usage of Bond dying because of the hilarious death replay, notably)
That's why their "follow-up" was Perfect Dark. And when a bunch of that team left for another studio, they themselves made another license-free follow-up in the form of TimeSplitters.
I could never decide if I would have preferred rare to have made Tomorrow never dies when in the end will still got the awesome Perfect Dark , such an amazing Dev team in that era
@@dorkbrandon4422 Honestly, I think with how stellar Perfect Dark and some of the devs making TimeSplitters later on, we got the good ending out of the deal.
Kind of crazy to think this was released 3 years after Goldeneye N64
It looks so much worse in every way
the real game of this was released with ps2 and looks great for the time. this was just bc the ps1 still had so many players
6:54 fail
Good lord this is so horrible compared to the n64 version.
Think I preferred the n64 version this just seems cheaply made and nasty
😅😮😢😢🎉🎉😢😮😅
AaaAh!
They were so awful. I played hours on these.. i dont know how you managed to play this whole thing again
Lol 64 version is way better
Decided to install psx emulator on my phone and go through the games that i used to play as a kid. Nostalgia is one hell of a drug that's for sure.
