Hanging around Kansas City Metro and The Jo

Gillig buses in Kansas City. KC Metro operates a fleet of Gillig's in diesel, hybrid, and CNG of various ages and all under the powers of Cummins ISC/ISL/ISM and either Allison B400R or Voith (the hybrids have Allison EP40). The Jo operates Gillig's into the city from outlying suburbs. Here is a video featuring buses from both agencies.

The Gillig Hybrids have Cummins ISBs. I can tell by the engine note.

I think the Gillig BRTs used on the MAX bus rapid transit routes, or at least the older ones, have an ISM paired with a Voith; the rest of the non-hybrid fleet has either an ISC or ISL paired to an Allison.
