Im in love with her for what effects she added to kneadin. The track is so powerful that everybody moved ,Hannah knew what she was doing. And goddamnt it i loved all the tracks here too. Amazing mix.
I'm surprised many here in the states aren't feeling the future of Jackin House. I'm 48 and started doing in the 80's and fully embrace what they are doing over seas. Yeah ppl put your phone's down and dance already wtf
I apologize to all the Brits out there for my American brothers during this set. Not dancing, on their phones. This is quite typical in both music festivals and clubs. Drives me out of my fucking mind. I can't wait to come back to the UK to return to Fabric, Ministry, and Sankeys (not sure how its spelled exactly)
eric j I'm from Canada and I can't wait to finally be able to legally go clubbing in the UK this summer. I visit often since my family's from there, but now that I'm older I can finally enjoy the music scene. So pumped for this summer. Any particular places I should check out? I'll be all over the UK (birmingham, manchester, london, etc).
KREAMdawg The English will tell you to go to Manchester. Sanky's is one of the oldest and most famous venues with a very mature crowd. If you are in central London, you can't go wrong with Ministry of Sound, although Ministry is a bit more "mainstream" if that bothers you, as they usually host bigger artists. Fabric is more Drum n Bass, but I highly recommend the Fabric experience at least once at it is absolute insanity!!! (but a bit crowded). You can't hear or see anything in Fabric besides lasers, smoke, and straight ear-shattering bass. I couldn't hear for two days after a night in Fabric. On popular nights with bigger artists, show up a bit early or you will be waiting outside for awhile to get in. There are dozens upon dozens of other underground clubs that the English can clue you in on.
eric j Thanks so much man I really appreciate the suggestions! I'll definitely check out Fabric. Depending on who's playing at Ministry while I'm there I may check it out too. Everyone always raves on about how great the Manchester scene is so I'll have to ask some of my uni friends out there when I visit and I'll to hit up Sanky's too. I'm just stoked to see some of my favourite artists (hopefully they'll be in or around town) like Shadow Child, Cause n Affect (or Chris Lorenzo), Hot Since 82, etc.
Sign of the times when people are more interested in telling their mates they were there via photos and social media than actually embracing the moment themselves.
That's what I hate about going out these days. *updates status* 'It's amazing in here' - How so if you're on your phone? Smartphones should be banned from venues.
it takes like 5 seconds to take a pic, and most people only had their phones out as she was starting, no were near as bad as more mainstream music events where its literally just people recording the whole time...

its beltran what im saying is that anyone can make this set using their songs. just go buy yourselves $100 mixer and pracitice. you probably cant produce but this set is superrrr easy to make.
I agree, I don't want to sound harsh, but her mixing for me is not on point, she claims to have vinyl turntables skills, but I do not hear any in her sets
The track at min 13:30 remembers me when when I was 2020 in Austria. When i was skiing this track swings in my head always on the piste Im from north germany
afekasi79 We definitely have a passion for the music and are aware when a dj is properly laying it down. (unlike this set imo) But we also have a passion for drugs in fairness!
There is 115 people that don't have an idea about what is good and what is bad.... sad sad... please don't click thumb down... just try another style... it's very simple
Your about 12 love you don't know or have experienced decent dj's or else have poor taste. In the Dj Community Hannah wants is the butt of all jokes because she can't Dj. Her taste is so poor
Man, should see her sets in the UK. Wayyyy more upbeat and a lot more movement from the crowds! I'll be very much looking forward to seeing her do a set again in the summer festivals!
absolutely love Hannah Wants but not feeling this set as much, just doesnt do a lot for me, prefer her 1114 mixtapes but have absolute respect for this girl !
I couldn't agree more - PUT DOWN YOUR F'ING PHONES. I'm not sure if most of these people know how to deal with a DJ that's there to play a good set (and only play a good set). They think it's supposed to be a hype-it-up-and-post-it-on-facebook fest because they heard this was the cool place to be. And there's no better way to make it seem cool than to make sure everyone knows how cool you think it is... by posting it on Facebook. Not saying this isn't cool - it is. Don't me wrong , any upcoming DJ needs advertising, hype, marketing, etc. But, 3 people actually dancing out of the 15 people in the video frame that had their phones out doesn't exactly paint the picture that this crowd is there to dance which, don't forget, is what a DJ is supposed to be there to do - make you dance. (A little background - I hate people's obsession with FB. I'm feeling like that fueled the vast majority of this vent sesh.) Sooo call me an douche... Definitely a sick set but it just seems like a fake crowd... that was quite a rant... so sue me lol
Can someone not record a special moment to put on there laptop to relive at a later date? The entire reason a camera was invented is to look back on moments, although a lot of people that go to events these days only go for the hashtag an the facebook post, Me and some others record little parts so you can relive these small moments. so chill
I also think its a lot to do with the crowd here, its a mixmag event in LA so a lot of clueless rich kids will have obviously went just to say they did
ashnasher I absolutely respect your point about having a camera and capturing a moment. That is completely and entirely valid. I had just seen so much of the same thing recently and this was the place where I vented. Cameras are a valuable thing for preserving memories and I'd be lying if I said I didn't take a few pictures at the last event I attended. But, you definitely nailed my thoughts with what you said last - "its a mixmag event in LA so a lot of clueless rich kids will have obviously went just to say they did" . Exactly... and that's what annoyed me a LOT haha
Decent tunes but is this what the world has come to? Bobbing heads and staring at your phone? I've been out of the club scene for nearly ten years, but where's the atmosphere and enthusiasm? I dread to think what clubs are like nowadays. Too many people focused on their social media and missing the moment. Sad.
The problem with the crowd is they are all in their 20's so don't understand house music, fill the place with people in their 30's from Manchester & London and it would be a decent vibe, it's the kind of music that resonates with people, it's not about the big basslines or hyperactive tunes. Kids don't get it these days which is a shame, the progressive nature of a house set doesn't need E (it helps!) but the people who are of the correct mindset to go off it on the floor.
***** yeah obviously you get wobble eye and your pupils dilate, but literally 95% of the people there are wired on some shit. So there's no reason to be like "oh no my eyes are big!" when literally everyone else's are too hahaha! Plus them guys that wear shades to a rave... just nah

Im in love with her for what effects she added to kneadin. The track is so powerful that everybody moved
,Hannah knew what she was doing. And goddamnt it i loved all the tracks here too.
Amazing mix.
This set is so on point. Technique and selection. I listened and it was good to hear a bit of crossfade action. An art in decline. Love.
You need to check out some proper Dj's if you think she's good.
It's incredible how she plays with the crossfade!
Mixed emotions by many here. She makes dope music. Solid mixing. I would of been Jackin for sure! Thumbs up for Hannah Wants
I'm surprised many here in the states aren't feeling the future of Jackin House. I'm 48 and started doing in the 80's and fully embrace what they are doing over seas. Yeah ppl put your phone's down and dance already wtf
I love Hannah Wants, her mixtapes and sets are always amazing.
Check out House bass and vibes. I believe their mixes are better.
Marti Moynihan Will check it out, thanks
Ha. Yeah right.

I am, it came up as a memory. Can't believe I let this slip through my music radar! X
She has such incredible style in her mixing! The way she cuts those tracks up, Damn!

worst Dj I've ever seen. Your clueless bud

I just saw her last night in Austin TX and she was incredible! This set does not do her justice and it's still good.
saw hannah at digital dreams this summer in toronto, outstanding set.
want no tracklist! just wanna enjoy that awesome set....great stuff again, thanks for uploading! greetz from germany
Sign of the times when people are more interested in telling their mates they were there via photos and social media than actually embracing the moment themselves.
In LA, if you're dancing, look to your left, then your right. Chances are you're the only one not on your phone. Her Night Bass set was dope!!!
Mate couldn't agree more
That's what I hate about going out these days.

i want to be brutally honest these sets are really easy easy easy to make. i can imitate their set in my first try.

viewing this now........ merry christmas............ totally lovin bassline & jackin house!
In the UK ones the people are actually dancing.....
because the people in the uk are most likely on drugs when they go to an event such as this
afekasi79
We definitely have a passion for the music and are aware when a dj is properly laying it down. (unlike this set imo) But we also have a passion for drugs in fairness!
bcfcsam1995
please do not try to make it out as if people don't take drugs when they go to things such as this over in America your lost friend
bcfcsam1995 youre an idiot if you think the only way to dance is to be on drugs
uk house scene > us house scene any day
