My neighbor pounding around above me day in and day out, rattling my floor boards and the stuff on my countertops triggers me and then when I bring up my concerns with my landlord, she's ignored them for months and has blamed everything on me. And no, I can't just move, I don't have the financial means to do so since I'm unemployed due to medical issues. I wish they could be held accountable for their pounding around but instead, my concerns are ignored and if I get even just a tiny bit upset, my landlord increases her abuse towards me, blamed me even harder and threatened me with eviction. I don't know what to do. I've tried everything. Even her atourney doesn't care. The police can't do anything and the Private security who works the property couldn't get the guy to open his door to talk when he was having a loud party one night. S*icide seems like my only option to escape the abuse and pounding around. I can't live comfortably in my unit but the front office keeps saying that he's allowed to live in his. My landlord sees no problem with my neighbor's behavior but she'll abuse the hell out of me if I am even the slightest upset. This has been going on for two years with two different neighbors and three different landlords who have all not cared and have all blamed everything on me. My previous neighbor above me has a dog that barked 12 hours a day and the landlord at the time condemned me for asking her to do something about it, accusing me of complaining all the time even though I waited a month to mention the dog's excessive barking and that was my ONLY complaint.
