I am 15, been living in Palm Beach County since 2015. I love to see this city growing! I definitely plan on living in the downtown when the time comes. Thanks for this informative video!
Another great video, Paul!!! So excited to see the growth, development and promise of supreme beauty! Came here after 32 years in Goldsboro, NC to beautiful Westlake, FL in Dec. 23. Your videos have continued to spur me on and give me life! My college children have graduated 10+ years ago and at 57, it's my time now. Best wishes for caviar wishes ( if I ate that) and champagne dreams! Cheers.
Great info Paul. I’m in WPB and it’s changed so much in the past 7 years. I’ve decided it’s time for me to sell and move north. Just hope I can sell my home, things aren’t moving too quickly.
I've been house hunting around West Palm for the past week, to my surprise there's a alot of houses for sale in a small radius. This reminded me of downtown Brooklyn, New York when the locals wanted out because they knew what was coming.
I lived in RPB (Royal Palm Beach) just west of the turnpike from 2003-2013 and visited downtown WPB frequently. Cityplace was very new and a nice the place to go. It even had a Blue Martini back then. When I visited last summer my friend there told me Cityplace had gone downhill since I moved back home to Texas in 2014. Now I heard on your video and Googled that they demolished the Macy's and the modern movie theaters. The buildings were relatively not that old however apparently their repurposed values today much higher (for now with certain financial models and 'lower' CAP rates). Also maybe they had some serious code issues and movie theaters across the US having really tough times since the pandemic and on-line movies etc. Now 'ALL' this developer money going into luxury high rise Flagler condos and NORA. I wonder how long they will last especially if we suffer a serious financial downturn or some even worse event? In Austin we have this very nice mixed use development north of downtown called the Domain and the first phase still lasting almost 30 years now.
I've never been to the domain but I used to live in Austin in 1989 and it was a fun city but I've heard it changed completely after I moved to Florida in 92. A lot of those condos are for the wealthy and those people aren't affected by real estate downturns as much as everyone else most of those people pay cash for those condos. I remember when city Place opened and it was brand new awesome and then I remember when it went downhill and got dirty. But now it's nice and clean again with some cool restaurants and still lots of shopping but now they'll be more places for people to live and be able to walk right down to the restaurants
Hard to imagine that all of these offices buildings are gonna find tenants when virtually every other city in the country has huge amounts of vacant space because no one wants to work in an office anymore. But Stephen Ross and Jeff Green are way smarter than I am. So we shall see
Very interesting, but i hope it doesn't become as expensive as Bellevue, Washington! By the way, I think it would be nice (if at all possible), you have pictures of each one of the completed projects! (Maybe in a next follow up video?) 😊
Hey, Paul. I am just checking you on from Dusty Porter's Show. I was on this show some time ago as well. I am a REALTOR in Atlantic Canada. Keep up the good work, and it's great to hear from you. 😀
Do you have any area in particular that you would want me to make that video. There are lots of homes on the beaches but many of the larger ones I wouldn't have any way to get near them because they're all secured by big gates
Don't believe everything you hear about real estate in Florida. Those condos are selling and most of the buildings are sold out. The wealthy will always have money to buy real estate.
What a ghastly thought. I avoid Miami like the plague... you couldn't pay me to go there. The last time my fave group was in FL there was a choice of going to Miami (40. miles south) or to drive to Buckhead in Atlanta. We chose a short drive to Atlanta.. much better atmosphere than Miami!
It looks like Sunny Isle Miami Florida or New York City Greed, Greed, and more Greed. What a joke! Where do these developers get the money to build these monstrosities? 🇺🇸😎☘️⚓️👻
I worked at The Breakers about 42 years ago and remember how the city was like back then. A lot has changed. My go to place is actually Lake Worth. Haven't been there in a little while.
@@PalmBeachesPaul I had to forward it to a big wig in NYC builder I know. He is too busy so I know what will interest him. That is what will interest him. Then he will go behind and watch all of it
NOT THRILLED about the growth !! I live in this area and it will be filled with noise and air pollution. Super unhealthy and can cause long lasting health effects !! Moving out before all this development damages my health!
You can't stop progress it's gonna happen whether we're here or not, look at Florida 30 years ago compared to now, look at New York 100 years compared to now.

Love the description of your channel; it's so you, Paul. Thank you for welcoming me to paradise.❤

@jgreenzv1wt let me know if I can help you with any of your real estate needs
downtown Brooklyn is thriving, and prices are insane ...
been alot of new construction and renovations

Awesome job, Paul! Thanks for the insight on NORA!
Great video. Thx PBP:)
I sensed this coming for a while now ppl are over Miami now

There's a lot of big money companies leaving New York and all their taxes to come to South Florida where it's a very business friendly state.
companies want new office space thats up to date like this that is part of why they move here

Nobody worries about sink holes? All that construction seems worrisome.
No. Never heard of sink holes in south Florida but you never know
Palm Beach County isn't susceptible to sinkholes, they're more prevalent in Tampa & Pasco county

WOW, thanks and nice to meet you. I was so excited to be invited to his podcast, he's a great guy. I'll check out your channel.
@@PalmBeachesPaul Thanks, Paul. Have a great day!
Could you make a video on the housing properties right on the beach, thank you. Great videos.

Another great video
Paul, can’t you add time right from the phone? I do it all the time in Boynton and Lake worth
Yes I can but I was almost to my car and knew I was leaving so I didn't wanna spend any more money on the parking timer
Glass don't rust and corrode.
Buildings should be designed to withstand the salty air of the ocean.
Great video Paul. Beyond my budget 7 million.
Thanks for the video. I wish the city would completely redevelop the troubled north tamarind avenue. That area needs a major upgrade.
They have plans for Tamerind. Not sure when they will start it
its already happening
i wonder how much the maintenance be?
A lot! 😀🤑
Real estate is collapsing in Florida, and they want to build that, they're nuts.

I’d never live in a high rise. Nice video though.😊
22:03 LOCO not local.................Totally LOCO it will be
I moved to West Palm Beach [Village Blvd] in 1994, and I was kind of bored with the place.
Great video!

Will anything there be affordable? Sounds like the middle class will be squeezed out.
Yes still lots available just not in downtown
I worked at The Breakers about 42 years ago and remember how the city was like back then. A lot has changed. My go to place is actually Lake Worth. Haven't been there in a little while.
theres alot of cheap housing just outside downtown

Affordable housing for the wealthy who are just too poor to move to Palm Beach..lol..

I hear you, your feelings are in line with a lot of other Floridians, my wife and kids are all Floridians.
