It was a special night ! Long overdue , great venue and well worth the 380 Mile round trip Sublime set like they just picked up from last time I saw them
@@colinblackledge2942 Thanks for that . I doubt I will go though. If they are touring Greece . Must be a chance they will go on a UK tour perhaps. I did see Puressence 12 times from 1996 (Maker shaker tour in Birmingham in front of around 30 people !) to 2012 . The most I have ever seen any band eg REM 10 times , Wall of Voodoo 9 times. Have both vinyl albums. All the Cd's . Many singles including the rare early ep's . Where James's voice is much lower in the scale. Many people prefer that , and I know people who don't like his high pitched voice.
@@colinblackledge2942 I saw them play a tiny venue (100 Max) in Wolverhampton around the late 90's on the second album tour. They gave one of the greatest live performances I have ever witnessed in 52 years of gig going (around 1200 gigs/maybe 2000 bands /artists with supports) . I also saw them on other occasions in Wolverhampton often at the same tiny venue. I also saw them in Birmingham 4 times. The only disappointing gig and by far was Manchester Uni Oxford Road around 2003 . When the crowd were shouting out every word . Very annoying. To be honest that would appear to be the same at this Manchester gig. I pay to see /hear the band . Not listen to the audience. But maybe I am old fashioned ! well I am old ! ps I know people who prefer Puressence on the early ep's because James has a deeper voice. They don't much care for his higher pitched vocals. I like both. But if I had to choose I would go for the lower vocals !
Great band 💯
A Master Class from start to finish !!!
Jimmy ( The Voice ) was superb all night, I ADORE this mob. Long Live Jimmy and the Boyz.
What a night that was....still can't believe it happened! On the last leg of the journey home but still buzzing from last night.

Thank you so much for this!
Thank you. I was there last night. So glad to see them back.
Yes but only for a one off gig sadly by the look of it.
@@keithbate9405 They are playing a gig in Greece in December if you fancy a little holiday

@@keithbate9405 I'm similar to you . I've seen them about 12 times since 1996. Failsworth labour club was a memorable one.

Still crying at how much this night was needed 😍 and regret it is over 😢
It was ELECTRIC !! Absolutely amazing thank you for sharing... Bringing a tear to my eyes now 💖💖💖
I was there tears in my eyes it was glorious
My favorite band!
Being stuck down in deep south west Plymouth, I need a gig of theirs a bit closer
Still dream about this.
Was an amazing night. Got totally soaked in the queue but was worth it.
Epic video! Thanks for sharing the magic for those of us that couldnt be there!
Wandy, Do you have Mr Brown?. thanks
ARE THEY CARRYING ON AFTER THIS? That is the question I need answered
Sadly I think it was a one off . Remember in a 20 year old career they never got beyond small venues.
