    Kamil explains a very easy way of dealing with unwanted thoughts. The secret is in not engaging with them - just letting them go.
    This is what Buddhist meditation too taught me, to dissociate from your thoughts as if they do not belong to you in case they are unwholesome, unskillful & do you & others more harm than good, sooner or later. Just accept them for what they are - Impermanent, powerless thought & neither to hide them, repress them or live in denial that you do not have those thoughts when you do actually have them nor blindly & unmindfuly react to them & give them the power by engaging them, entertaining them, believing them to be true & hence in the process, strengthening them in terms of frequency & intensity. The middle path that is simply accept them with high awareness levels and equanimity to deal with them appropriately & observe them every time they arise and see them through until they end without getting impacted at all.

      Tracy's Damn Child oh my god same. This is why im here! I saw a bad website couple years ago that literally started to break my mind down bit by bit. It was so disturbing i wanted to cry ever night because i feel evil. Now that ive found this video, i think i can get past this cage of thoughts. Glad im not alone.

    Basically go on with your day yes they will appear in your head but just ignore it and let it wash away like a wave on a beach it will come on and splash onto to the beach and it will pull back into the ocean don’t try and push it way or fight it with other thoughts and instead let it be and it will disappear into the void of your mind hope this helps who ever reads this I know it did for me.

    it SUCKS when something you don't even agree with keeps popping up in your head because you heard it somewhere and would be applied in a situation with this other person's perspective.     I have many bad thoughts they repeat frecuently in my head, IT's true, I always fight with them and all I got IT they get worse, I feel so weak against them. I've been creating a big ball of bad thoughts without noticing IT. Now IT's not easy but I'm going to give a try for my own good.😞😞😞😞
    I have ignored them but they come back again out of the blue.

    I came out gay a while ago now , I have a great family and life but have had some bad experiences I am currently having horrible intrusive thoughts and they are making me feel sick, I know I’d never act upon the thoughts but it’s the fact that there still there and I’m worrying even more thinking what does this mean? but now I am just realising there just a thought! They don’t mean anything it doesn’t change who I am as a person💛I spoke to my science teacher and she understands she said it could be a form of OCD which I agree! Just know that your not alone, and there just thoughts they don’t mean anything🥰STAY STRONG!

    I think its been a week since I started not eating properly because of the bad thoughts in my mind which is very scary. I cant smile and cant even laugh. And the worst part is I dont know how to stop imagining things like this because the moment I feel like i can conquer it new thoughts have came and now Idk how to deal with. Meditating cant even help because the moment i close my eyes it appears in my head and Im so scared that it might happen and my mind imagine or say mean and bad things that i really dont wanna say or think. I really want to fully recover about it because i want to go back to my usual happy routine and stop thinking about the dark thoughts that my mind creates.

    Basically go on with your day yes they will appear in your head but just ignore it and let it wash away like a wave on a beach it will come on and splash onto to the beach and it will pull back into the ocean don’t try and push it way or fight it with other thoughts and instead let it be and it will disappear into the void of your mind hope this helps who ever reads this I know it did for me.

    Thanks for the video, it is an interesting subject.
    I suspect that thoughts come from spirits (people who have died physically). Positive, constructive thoughts come from above and are uplifting while negative, destructive thoughts come from below and drag us down, worry, depress and will eventually enslave us if we allow it; they cause mental illnesses, imo.
    We are in a spiritual war, imo. We have freedom to either receive or reject thoughts (rejecting negative thoughts takes determination and persistence). Thoughts do not become ours unless we choose to believe and receive them. Thoughts become beliefs and beliefs determine behaviors which lead one to either Heaven or Hell, imo.

    Thank you for this video I’ve been having unwanted/funny thoughts. I would share silly jokes with my friend but now I got my mind off it. Sometimes if u share them out loud, it may help. I know I won’t go back to these thoughts again.

      Often thoughts and feelings come together. You can disrupt the circle by changing either of them. You can use tapping to disrupt the feeling and affirmations to disrupt the thoughts.

    Hey. It’s just a phase believe me. It feels like a vicious cycle, maybe you blame yourself, you feel like you’re too afraid and you’re not even able to calm down, thoughts overflow etc. But it is just a phase. Maybe it is true that you are too afraid. But remember, the body, the mind will always get used to things. Ones you get used to it, your brain will find it too boring and you won’t feel fear anymore and then it‘ll automatically go away. Trust me please. But if you keep on stressing yourself than it will stress your brain and that hurts. Also important to mention this: maybe after reading this comment you’ll feel better, maybe worse. The truth is, everyone is different. Don’t compare. You aren’t alone. Take your time. It all takes time. Again, it is just a phase. You don’t know what is really going on inside your head. So let it all be. Also, stop watching / reading too many videos and comments about it. You got this!

    My cat had kidney disease and is old and I can’t stop thinking about his death that will happen eventually. I just want these thoughts to go away, I keep crying every night thinking about it. Hopefully this will help

    I watch the Lucinda Bassett tapes and it tells you not to ignore the thoughts because it’s gonna make it worse just say to yourself the truth because most of the time negative thoughts aren’t even gonna be true. They’re just thoughts!!!!!!
