Love your channel. Thanks for the heartfelt content. Have you tried ‘springing off’ the boat in wind when you are pinned to the side? It’s saved me a few times on mine. Think there’s a few tutorials on TH-cam on how to do it on a narrowboat. Please ignore if you know this trick. Don’t want to patronise 😊
Brilliant comment, you know what I have used the springing off method before to great effect, for some unknown reason ( my 🧠) i just forgot this exsited in this instance! Thank you!...going to pin this as someone might find useful, thanks for the excellent comment!😍
I'm still giggling at you two but I always do, so funny what you get up to. Lindsay really knows her curry's and that looked a right treat, lucky you's! Heroic in that wind, Paul, bloody dangerous too! The dogs looked happy enough in the warm. Keep safe till next time, can't wait!
We love your videos but this is your best. Lindsay is a natural food presenter!!! And unlike loads of other boating vlogs, u show all of ur life not just cruising up and down the canal. And ur funny too!! Love it guys. Keep up the food vlogs and normal life vlogs. Ur the best!! Nick & Gerry ❤❤❤❤
@locksandlandscapes oh no, Lindsey, they are the best . Pickled onion monster munch too, but when they first come out in the late 70s, early eighties x
Love watching your videos, the curry looked delicious and the recipe easy to follow. Good to see Paul make breakfast but need to take Lindsay a cup of tea in bed xx
Fantastic video once again! That curry looks bloody delicious 😋 am going to try your recipe ❤ Sat in bed listening to the wind this morning (storm Darragh) thinking of all the boaters 😮 hope you're keeping safe

Thanks for the curry recipe, I’m a bit embarrassed that I usually buy Pataks jars 😂 and scampi fries all the way, or Niknaks Scampi and Lemon. Thanks for the video.
What a curry ! I need to expand my cooking repertoire , As for favourite crisps, living in France I love the "Vico" Street food spicy BBQ flavour, full of mad flavour and spice ! Another great video guys 👌 xx
Wow,she drives the boat and makes one of the best looking home made curries on TH-cam, take a bow lindsay, lucky man Paul....also I agree pickled onion monster munch, 20 yrs ago was the my hangover breakfast of choice !
Just had to subscribe….you had me on the curry!!! The real reality !!! Real people, you two had me in stitches and yes monster munch pickled onion all the way, sending sunshine from Sydney 🌏🦘🦘
Oh my word that curry looked divine and I could just image the smell wafting out of your boat, Paul now come on mate the golden rule is if your gonna wake the wiffie up your gotta greet her with a good cuppa. I love watching you two banter, narrow boats are amazing ❤
So, one trick I have learned over the years is to put the boat in reverse and the prop walk will spin that large ass to port and get you off. If you have fenders give it a good thrust forward and the bow will swing to Starboard with cleaver use of the fenders...so there you have it mate....Best SV Aquila Seattle
Just found your channel..Love it and have subscribed 😁 If you are pinned against the side you could have Lindsay on the bow with a boat pole to push off. Then you could bring the stern out with the motor.. Happy travels!
Oh great so glad you have joined us on our travels. Problem with that great idea though is Lindsay is normally working when we move so she can’t get up on deck when she is needed ! 😆
Lovely curry Lindsay, getting my husband to make it 😊 get yourselves up north and come for a curry on our boat!😁 I agree beef hula hoops or cheese & onion walkers crisps.😜
@locksandlandscapes We are near Burscough, West Lancashire. Liverpool is a great place to visit if you get the chance. If you do come this way your very welcome to a curry 😁
I think it's a bit of a dark art? ....those that move the minimal amount I think guess and hope? I'm not sure, for us we have moved more than enough over the last year to not have to worry🙂
Walkers Max strong spicy prawn cocktail for me, they're a great combination of sweetness and heat. I'm not a morning person either Lindsay. It's been proven by science that morning people and night owl peoples brains actually function differently. Evolution made some humans brains more active at the end of the day and some at the beginning, it's why we made it as a species. Sorry lecture over 😁, thanks for the vid
I can now quote you when Paul says hurry up 🤣🤣 And I’ve not heard of spicy prawn !! I’m going to have to loom for them as they sound right up my street !
The wind was mental, I was securing the boat on the next landing and walking back to close, the locks are close together, no point securing twice right? As I was struggling to get the boat on the landings, its an edited video, I'm not going to show that. thanks for the comment tho.

Q) For mooring, when the 14 days are up, how far do you have to travel before you can moor again and the clock restarts? Ta.
I think I’m old money you had to move to the next parish but now it’s only a mile or so
As you only need to travel 21 miles in a year
Lindsay you need your own cooking channel.
