My favorite gear under $150 is my homemade paracord straps that have peak design QD clips on one side, and regular old clippy-clips on the other that attach to the shoulder rings on a "tactical" vest. This allows me to carry my camera all day, without putting any weight on the back of my neck. Thinking of adding a capture to the front (gotta find out if it will attach well to MOLLE) so that I can reduce the swinging of the camera whilst hiking.

My newest favorite would have to be the Peak Designs wrist strap. I did not realize how much I would like it over my PD neck strap. I find myself using the wrist strap more and more.

Hi Pierre, first and foremost I hope you are having an amazing day although it's still morning here in Chicago. The one piece of gear I've been using that I like is an rgb Andycine R1 light I brought off Amazon after all you can always use a little more light in some cases!

I have a sling camera bag, so a Peak Design camera holder doesn't really fit well on it... My favourite piece of gear under $100 is probably my variable ND filter from Gobe/Urth, can keep good DoF or long exposures a lot more easily.

Was the 70-200 with 2x teleconverter a great choice, over taking a 100-400 or a 150-600? Would you do the same choice if you go again?

Lambert, mind sharing how you keep your gears clean after every shoots you had done outdoor without any UV or other filters attach in front of your lens front element and also shoot in harsh weather? i have problem with keeping clean with ultra wide angle lens without any front protection.

did they allow you to bring that huge back pack with you on board? it seems over any maximum measure of any airplane company. do you have any suggestion for that?
Thank you for the awesome videos like always. I do have an odd question kind of haha. My experience with camera backpacks like that is I build up a lot of back-sweat from them. Soaking my shirts with sweat with those type of backpacks when I’m out in the field working on film gigs. Do you have tips to avoid that?
No tips for that backpacks will do that. Some are better ventilated than others. This one is great I find
Hi Pierre, can’t wait for the Tanzania video! I’m still trying to work out how you get all that gear on as carry on luggage.....how much does the fully packed bag weigh? Here in Oz they frequently weigh carry on luggage with limits of around 8kg.
Yeah you have to get around haha at check in carry cameras in hand and batteries in pocket 😃

Amazing video. But with the A1 and A7r4 the teleconverter actually reduces quality of images more than just cropping. I’m sure it Varys set up to set up but check it out.

For your POV videos, how many batteries for GoPro do you carry? considering GoPro batteries don't last that long. GoPro7 only works 15-20 on one battery...

My friend is selling his Sony 24mm f1.4 Gmaster for $700. It has a tiny scratch on the back element, but I can’t see any imperfections from the photos taken with it. Should I buy it?
Check to see if the imperfections start to appear at higher apertures. This happened to one of my lenses and I could only see the imperfections starting at around f8 and up. Which is a killer if it's going to be used as a landscape lens.
