there's no need. I'm using footwork and pivoting all the time in roomscale, most fights I have tend to be in spaces 8 x 8 feet or larger.
The only benefit of foot trackers would be to animate the avatar clearer but that's a moot point; I can't see below someone's trunks most of the time I'm fighting

    Things I liked:
You used your range effectively. Your counters were right on time. You were in and out quick. Head movement.
What I think you could do to improve:
Get the angle on your opponent. Step around them, especially when they're tired, they'll be less likely to respond or even notice you're no longer in front of them. More defense. You're stepping in and going to war with these people, you're wearing yourself out. Block, step off the center line, open up the counter. More body shots (I'm guilty of that myself.)

@@CalTheDamned Well, when they take my free advice into account and start using it, then it will be better and more realistic, and not until then. As it is right now, it's only tracking head and hand movement and just guestimating where the rest of the body is relative to those two points. Makes it impossible to accurately register defense, for one thing. You'd think that would be a big problem in a boxing game, but apparently most people don't notice because they're just swinging wild the whole time.

I've only done it once. I got my butt kicked, but I didn't know what I was doing, and my controllers kept acting up. That's my excuse anyway. LOL

i had my arms and my chest totally go numb after 10 matches, i just got the game so i went for a 1:30 session, thats when my arms became limb and i couldnt throw nothing no more, also i feel like the fact that you dont have resistance in the back of the punches is the biggest exhaustion point

@@RayeCuhhe also doesn’t commit to his punches. I really put my whole body in every punch and it does a ton more damage than what hes doing. It also makes me super sore but hey winning is worth it

This game is a blast. My first match I dropped the guy in 10 seconds, then he went on a mad man flurry. Started working me. I'm swinging hard as f. By the end of the first round we are in our corners hunched over out of breath and he gave up before I did. I was going to give up. 1 round! A lot of fun.

If you tighten up the shoulder and get your leg and trunk rotation into your hooks, will that translate into a faster tighter hook in VR?

I've been playing through a few matches! I recommend trying a more sport karate style! It's actually pretty effective when the other person has a bigger space to accommodate the in and out movement

I want to see Seth get the boxing coaches he's worked with to fight in this game. Any stakes, any circumstances.
Imagine logging in to a game and having your opponent be a professional fight instructor with a ranked record!!!

Hey, Seth, have you tried the fightmersive sparing app? They send you a headset, and you clip your phone on, and it puts your phone in VR mode and boots up sparring footage for you to react too. Obviously, it doesn't replace having a partner to practice with, but if you can't get to the gym multiple times a week it's helpful. It's also has virtual Thai pad workouts.
