  • Great Reads is a series of 200+ videos. I talk about books, fiction and non-fiction, which I have liked, for various ages, from children to adults. There will be a new video each Sunday and Wednesday. My Starting Point is Trees, but One Thing Leads to Another, like branches, to include animals and trees, Africa, China, the Age of Exploration, Australia, flight, North America, gardening and plants, the poles, life in the oceans, boats, islands, journeys, and back to trees. Ep. 66

Yes, Maria Tharp. She faced the same blockades to pursuing her dreams that many women have. I assume that your current studies must speak about that issue. Chris, you are an example of how all people can self-educated themselves. Virtually all of Africa was under European colonial domination, thus it wasn't only women who were boxed in but men, too. Thanks, for your thoughts.
