Can't believe it has been so many years already! I would say that's a big improvement since the previous version, especially all the little details. I think you like to use chains a lot more in the past year, too. Feels like you have a much more delicate interior compared to the past since you didn't really use lining before. And I think it's these little details that really make the bags feel like they're on a whole new level. I do think that the bag might be a little bit stiff for the sides to bend in like that. It feels like it's a bit squashed. The original one felt softer, and the fold was more natural. The bag is still great, though! I'd love to see your upgraded versions of other things, like watch straps and gloves. Again, thanks for the video and please continue your awesome work!
Love your leatherwork but I find your videography to be exceptional! I've watched LV craftsmen in person and LV videos and I can't help but compare. Your production values are very high...you definitely hold your own. Love the lighting, camera angles, editing... the complete package. My only comment for every bag/purse you make (and I think this every time)... I would want an inside zipped pocket for small items to keep them from falling to the bottom or to keep them more secure from falling out of the open top. But otherwise, I'd love to purchase a custom purse from you some day!

It seems like you have come on in leaps & bounds.... Any craftsperson will always be honing their craft, making subtle changes, improving the look/feel/functionality. Now I'll go watch the other vid.... Edit: Both bags are delightful - I love their style - but the new version a definite improvement especially with a lining. All the small improvements you've made to the bag aren't really visible on the surface level, but those sorts of things really become a lot more apparent as you use the item.
It is always good to look back and evaluate how much you have grown! I applaud your dedication and consistent efforts to challenge yourself. Yes, I agree, nothing is ever easy at first. But I can relate to the satisfaction of succeeding at acquiring a new skill! Bravo!

Your process is much more streamlined now and while both bags look incredible the new one really has that quality to it that you can’t quite pinpoint but you just now it’s of the highest quality when you look at and touch it. It’s so cool to see how far you’ve come in your craft. Very inspiring. 😊❤
Love the color of this latest version. Your work is always improving you can tell by the little details. It may be time for you to make your own custom lining with your logo? A few colors black, nude and brown.

I wish I could round up all the broken down beat up couture bags and ask you to repair, revision and remake them to your own thoughts. although I might have some suggestions. My favorite pieces i rarely use out of fear of them getting overused and damaged.

It's very interesting to see your progression. The first bag is still very nice, though I know I'm harsh in judging my beginning works in the things I do, so I get that. I guess what I'm trying to say is that your work has progressed, but your former self has nothing to be embarrassed about!
You are very talented. Yes you can see the improvements that you have made but that is because we have seen you grow as an artist. I also create leather products and can see the improvements of the quality and techniques. The difficult part is that your 4 years old bag was already a GREAT product and was made VERY well so for a normal person they can not see any specific differences. So congratulations on continuing to improve and increasing the bar for the rest of us to keep up to. Thank you!
This bag is beautiful and so exquisit 😍that you shouldn't hide your name but proudly attach a label with it on the handle! . ETA: Oh and it would be handy to have 'legs' or some metal studs on the bottom as bags get dirty when put onto tables, especially when the leather is light. I would totally want this bag!!!
Sadly, my friend, most consumers don't actually pay attention to quality and detail. They pay attention to colour, brand, practicality and design. For the quality and detail they just trust the brand name. Maybe they did pay attention many years ago when they had 2 bags and expected them to last many years, but now every lady has many bags and most of them are just sitting on a shelf anyway. And that's why it's so hard to make money from quality leatherworking. As a maker, when you pay proper attention to detail, it takes a very long time to finish a product. And if you price that time fairly, it becomes a very expensive item that only very few people will recognise and appreciate, but even they might not be able to afford it.

It's very interesting to see your progression. The first bag is still very nice, though I know I'm harsh in judging my beginning works in the things I do, so I get that. I guess what I'm trying to say is that your work has progressed, but your former self has nothing to be embarrassed about!
You are very talented. Yes you can see the improvements that you have made but that is because we have seen you grow as an artist. I also create leather products and can see the improvements of the quality and techniques. The difficult part is that your 4 years old bag was already a GREAT product and was made VERY well so for a normal person they can not see any specific differences. So congratulations on continuing to improve and increasing the bar for the rest of us to keep up to. Thank you!

This bag is beautiful and so exquisit 😍that you shouldn't hide your name but proudly attach a label with it on the handle! . ETA: Oh and it would be handy to have 'legs' or some metal studs on the bottom as bags get dirty when put onto tables, especially when the leather is light. I would totally want this bag!!!
Sadly, my friend, most consumers don't actually pay attention to quality and detail. They pay attention to colour, brand, practicality and design. For the quality and detail they just trust the brand name.
Maybe they did pay attention many years ago when they had 2 bags and expected them to last many years, but now every lady has many bags and most of them are just sitting on a shelf anyway.
And that's why it's so hard to make money from quality leatherworking. As a maker, when you pay proper attention to detail, it takes a very long time to finish a product. And if you price that time fairly, it becomes a very expensive item that only very few people will recognise and appreciate, but even they might not be able to afford it.
