we'd much rather you enjoyed vlogmas than wear yourself out doing it, so well done for listening to yourself and taking a break ❤ that second supported spindle looks absolutely gorgeous, i just got a new russian one so i am absolutely in the spindle zone rn lol
I'm chronically ill and disabled and I have to say I love these more chill videos! It can be so difficult to slow down, give yourself grace, and find realistic expectations. You've mentioned some health struggles and I just really applaud (what feels like) giving yourself kindness❤ Also, i'm not able to crochet anymore but you my fiber friend, fufill my fiber fix!
I love number 2 the dancer. I use to dance before I became disabled. dec 8th was my 59th birthday and I received a cricket rigid heddle loom and I cant wait to get back to weaving, something i began to learn as a child and loved it. here's to this old dog learning new tricks.
Haven't watched your content in a while and I forgot how much joy you radiat and what a beautiful person you are inside and out! Watching your vids never fail to make me smile and my day brighter. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication and just being such a great person❤
Those supported spindles are amazing!! Nutty is my fav! I’d love to see a batt made with something that would give a soft halo to the finished yarn. That would be so pretty!
As someone who is merely longing and dreaming of spinning her own yarn someday, I really liked the idea of the spindle that you called number one, metal tip (my own personal preference is to knit with thicker yarn). I can't wait to see what beautiful yarn you spin with all three!
I can't choose a favorite of the support spindles. They were all so beautiful and well-made. I appreciate your vlogmas episodes and agree that you should enjoy your holiday season without stress. Happy spinning!
I'm sure picking a favourite is like picking a favourite child - you can't! There might be some you get on better with at some times, and others at other times ;) They're all gorgeous, and I'm sure they'll all pair nicely with slightly different blends! So good to see you enjoying vlogmas rather than pushing to get it all done and burning out. Wishing you a lovely christmas; may your spindles drop only sometimes and your yarn be well balanced
I’ve been watching Engineering Knits as well. Seeing people process fleece and turn it into yarn is fun to me 😆. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of those double sided bowls, but it seems like a great tool. All of those spindles are beautiful! I liked the Nutty one even more after you pointed out that it resembles an acorn.
Wow, difficult to pick a favorite spindle there. I kept thinking of which fiber I would use on each one! Their products look so beautifully made and finished. I have been using the wooden needle cases for several years. I love them. They are not expensive, big and long enough to keep many needles in, and no more lost needles or split plastic packages.
Those Spindles are ALL gorgeous! I would never be able to choose a fave because they all made my mouth drop, lol. Love the metal tip and am intrigued because I enjoy spinning thicker. I love the first support you too. I haven't found a good supplier of support spindles and/or cool supports, so thank you for showing these!
So lovely to see you pop up on my feed, and I actually prefer my Vlogmas videos to be over several days as it can get difficult to watch them all so that’s a happy by product of your sensibly ensuring your festive season isn’t too stressed 🥰 what beautiful spindles, I can’t wait to see you try them out and treat us to a tutorial. I love spinning Shetland or Corriedale but any fibre would be interesting to see you try out! Have a wonderful festive season xx
All the spindles are gorgeous! Dancer is my favorite, I think, although I do like nutty, however the metal tip one would be fun to try. Oh gosh. They are all beautiful works of art. Can’t wait to see what you create with them.❤
Those are lovely, special spindles. Love the names you gave them. Congratulations. You deserve these gifts. Thank you for showing them to us. Catherine
I love the "nutty" one! You have given me the confidence to spin. I've been practicing as much as I can without becoming frustrated. I've developed a love for spindle spinning. ❤ Still working on learning my wheel.
I have seen that company advertising their spindles and wondered what they were like! They all look so beautiful and the wood used is simply beautiful! I think my favourite is the Walnut nut shaped number 3 but I shall wait to see what you make of them and your favourite spin! Can’t wait for the video! Great unboxing episode today x
Just a thought … If you integrate a bell or bells into any piece of work, and the loop at the top of the bell wears through the yarn it’s attached to, you’ll not only lose the bell, but you’ll have a hole in your piece. 🙁 If you sew the bell onto the piece with a separate piece of yarn or thread, and the bell wears that separate piece of yarn out, you’ll only lose the bell and there won’t be a hole in your work. 😊 🥰
Wow! Those spindles are gorgeous! How generous of them to send them to you. Supported spindle spinning is something I’ve wanted to try for a while now. I was never able to really get coordinated enough to properly drop spindle but feel that the supported spindle might be better for me. It’s so hard to choose a favourite, but I think that I would say that “Dancer” is my favourite. I so enjoy your videos and look forward to the next one. Take care, enjoy your beautiful new spindles.
The third spindle, nutty, is my favorite. I've not had luck with my support spindles but I wonder if it hasn't been in part for to quality. Mine don't spin like that. Ican't wait to see your followup videos with these Kovalainen spindles!
I've only used a very quick diy spindle. I'm fascinated by the way physics has an effect on the spindles! I would love to try any and all of them, and most of all I would love to experience the differences in how they spin.
Those spindles are gorgeous! I’ve never used a supported spindle before but it looks like so much fun. My favourite is number 3, I love the shape and the dark wood. My Turkish spindle is made of dark wood as well and I love it so much! And I hope your quest for the appropriate bell is successful 😊
Wow all of those spindles are gorgeous! It is so amazing how human hands can craft these heirloom spindles. I especially love number three - the spin time, color…just chefs kiss!!
The dancing lady spindle is my favourite. You should card up whatever makes your heart sing at that moment but, personally, I hope whatever you chose has a bit of shine to it - we need all the light we can get in these dark winter days in the northern hemisphere!
Wow, difficult choice, I love them all! If I have to put them in order I think it would be Dancer, then Nutty, then the third one with the metal tip! Now to go to the Kravelli store and start making my wish list! Thank you so much for the chance to win one of these pieces of art! Wendy
It was so much fun (and very seasonally thematic) to watch your face light up opening all these beauties. I'd have trouble choosing a favorite, but maybe dancer?
I absolutely love the dancer, my hubby and I ran a bar, and had live bands come in and play! We loved to dance together, I miss it, but not the headache that came with it!! Lol
Those spindles are beautiful. I like the nutty one. Rich, dark, and beautiful. I'm looking forward to seeing you spin with them. I've never seen spindles like those, so I'm excited. Have a wonderful Christmas.
I'd love to try one of the spindles! I pretty much only use supported spindles since I discovered them and I love the supports that one can use between the legs as I'm forever dropping the little bowls. I live how these spin forever...
#3 the dark wood was my favorite. And on the needle holder, I have a wooden one that I have always loved and I hope it goes to someone who will cherish it as much as I, not find in archaeological site 😂
I'm honestly in love with all three spindles. I would love a supported spindle tutorial! I keep accumulating them but can't seem to figure out how to actually spin anything decent.
It's really hard to pick between the spindles, honestly, but I love the spin of spindle #3 (nutty!). So smooth! Take vlogmas at your pace, it's supposed to be fun.
Thank you for providing such a lovely breakfast company for me during advent.😊 I love the little dancer and if you have some Jacobs and/or Manx Logdan I woud love to see that. ⭐️
Number 3, Nutty! So cute! I like darker woods too and lean toward them when collecting equipment. It would be my absolute dream to have a supported spindle. ❤ I think you should blend soft and buttery fibers. My mind goes to things like cormo wool and baby alpaca.
Would love to see a supported spindle tutorial since I haven't jumped in on supported spindle spinning yet. I especially love the Dancer and Nutty comes in a close 2nd. Since I haven't spun on supported, I'm not sure what fiber would be good. I just spun some Polwarth on my wheel and LOVED it!
I was just watching EngineeringKnits right before this 😊 Because of her have a knitting machine 😊 I needed another outlet to use up the yarn I have spun… because of you. I now have 3 looms, 3 wheels and a knitting machine 😊🇨🇦
Nutty is definitely my favourite! It has such a fun acorn shape, and I really like the wood tone. I'm just a couple years into learning to spin with drop spindles, and I've been thinking about trying support spindling.
I think the walnut acorn is the most beautiful. Dancer is my second favorite. They are ALL beautiful! If you have any Shetland on hand, I'd love to see that. I've never spindle spun Shetland, and I have some floofy undyed Shetland here from Aoire Maith Fibre Studios that is just waiting for an empty spindle to get started. Thanks, Evie! Hugs
All the spindles were gorgeous!! I think I would have to pick dancer as my favorite. Enjoy your vlogmas. Would love to see you spin up some sick yarn. Maybe something with silk in it.
I really love 1 and 2! Very much looking forward to the supported spindle tutorial, I'm very new to spinning (working on my second drop spindle project as we speak) and I love the look of these and I definitely want to give one a go.
Spindle surprises!! I definitely want to hear your review of their new drop spindle, as I am a terrible support spindler. Having several days of vlogmas in one video was wonderful!!
Love love love all three spindles but would say Number 1 is on the top of the list!!! I’m a wheel spinner who wants to spindle spin!!! Love your podcast/vlogmas!! 🧶🧶🧶❤️❤️❤️
They are all beautiful, but I love the dark color of the Nutty one. Ive never used a supported spindle, but there look so pretty! Makes me want to try :)
I love the look of the dancer one! I would also love for a supported spinning tutorial with alpaca (my friend gave me some fleeces and I'm a beginner so I'm slowly spinning on my wheel but I'd love to learn how to also use a drop/supported spindle)
we'd much rather you enjoyed vlogmas than wear yourself out doing it, so well done for listening to yourself and taking a break ❤ that second supported spindle looks absolutely gorgeous, i just got a new russian one so i am absolutely in the spindle zone rn lol

I love the dark wood of Nutty. Supported spindles make my heart sing.
Those supported spindles are amazing!! Nutty is my fav! I’d love to see a batt made with something that would give a soft halo to the finished yarn. That would be so pretty!
PLEASE do a supported spinning tutorial! They are impossible to find.
Seconded! I've been curious about how it feels compared to drop spindles, especially for a beginning spinner.
I kept misplacing my needles until I got a needle box. Saved me.
When I wove with a beaded weft, I used a supplemental weft with the beads on it. Made things so much simpler.
Great tip! I was thinking about that too.
I have just begun to learn spinning. It will be enjoyable to watch you play with these new ones!
I literally gasped when I saw the title of this video! Yay spindles!
I love the shape of the dancing spindle! But they all look beautiful. ❤
I'm sure picking a favourite is like picking a favourite child - you can't! There might be some you get on better with at some times, and others at other times ;)
They're all gorgeous, and I'm sure they'll all pair nicely with slightly different blends!
So good to see you enjoying vlogmas rather than pushing to get it all done and burning out. Wishing you a lovely christmas; may your spindles drop only sometimes and your yarn be well balanced
Those are gorgeous spindles. I have to say “dancer” was my favorite. Great spin time and beautiful

I love all three spindles, but I believe dancer is my favorite. Thank you for sharing bits and pieces of your fiber life with us.
I love the dancer design (but all look so yummy I feel like I might drool!). I look forward to seeing you demonstrate one of these lovely spindles.
Those Spindles are ALL gorgeous! I would never be able to choose a fave because they all made my mouth drop, lol. Love the metal tip and am intrigued because I enjoy spinning thicker. What a beautiful unboxing the dark brown support spindle is the "I like the look of." Thank you so much for sharing xx
Oh my word! Any of those spindles would be a wonderful addition to my collection!❤
The spindles are so very lovely. I am amazed at how long they spin! Wishing you good health and joy this holiday season! 🎄:)
All the spindles are gorgeous! Dancer is my favorite, I think, although I do like nutty, however the metal tip one would be fun to try. Oh gosh. They are all beautiful works of art. Can’t wait to see what you create with them.❤
'dancer' is by far my favorite spindle. they're all so pretty!!!
Those are lovely, special spindles. Love the names you gave them. Congratulations. You deserve these gifts. Thank you for showing them to us. Catherine

I love them all, all the spindles, I think every spindle is special.
I think the number 2, full skirted lady is quite lovely. always love to see you spin alpaca.
Hi Jillian! Looking wonderful! I’m going to dust, orange oil, and oil ALL my spinning wheels this weekend…finally! Have a great day!
Just a thought …

I was in awe watching the dancer spin, they’re all lovely but that’s definitely my favorite 😌
Dancer or Nutty - both look wonderful. I've never used a supported spindle - and there's another rabbit hole to fall in. 😊
Oh that dark wood on spindle 3 is so stunning!
I've never spun on this type of spindle but I am so intrigued by it, and I love spindle #3!
I'm glad you are able to have a low stress Vlogmas season! Those spindles are all amazing, but I'd have to pick dancer as my favorite. :)
Oh my gosh, that supported spindle! ❤
I've only used a very quick diy spindle. I'm fascinated by the way physics has an effect on the spindles! I would love to try any and all of them, and most of all I would love to experience the differences in how they spin.
You’re so sweet and kind.I wish we lived closer.
I am lucky enough to have two Kravelli spindles and I do love, love, love them!
I love your spindles, and I thought I was the only one who personified their stuff!
Love seeing you, and your excitement with the new spindles! They look delightful❤
I love all of the spindles. Support spindles are my favorite to spin on
Wow, difficult choice, I love them all! If I have to put them in order I think it would be Dancer, then Nutty, then the third one with the metal tip! Now to go to the Kravelli store and start making my wish list! Thank you so much for the chance to win one of these pieces of art! Wendy
I recognized the Kravelli look immediately! The one I have is honestly one of my favorite spindles. It spins for what feels like forever!
Oh Nutty one you have my heart!! 💕 Another lovely episode 😊 Holiday greetings to you!
Nutty is absolutely lovely! I've been wanting to add a supported spindle to my collection. Thank you for sharing your review of the Kravelli spindles!
I love the spindle with the dark wood. Beautiful!
The darker wood of Nutty is beautiful. I’ve not tried a supported spindle before. Enjoying watching your vlogmas x
It was so much fun (and very seasonally thematic) to watch your face light up opening all these beauties. I'd have trouble choosing a favorite, but maybe dancer?
It was hard to choose! I'm so excited about using them all! 🧶
I absolutely love the dancer, my hubby and I ran a bar, and had live bands come in and play! We loved to dance together, I miss it, but not the headache that came with it!! Lol
Those are beautiful spindles! I really like #3 with the darker wood.

Love the coloring on the Nutty spindle.
The spindles are beautiful and I look forward to the separate video on them.

always a joy to spend a little time with you!
Please continue to take care of yourself! The spindles are lovely
It's really hard to pick between the spindles, honestly, but I love the spin of spindle #3 (nutty!). So smooth! Take vlogmas at your pace, it's supposed to be fun.
Nutty is definitely my favourite!
Also I'm excited for that tutorial
Oh they are all gorgeous! I love the dark wood though, nutty it is.
I've never successfully spun on a spindle, but that Nutty one made me want to learn.
Nutty looks like a Christmas decorations they all look stunning though and I think you will really enjoy using them especially with that long spin
What stunning gifts! So beautiful and useful. I love all of the support spindles, can't choose! I really loved how long they spin for. Enjoy!
Dancer is my favorite! It looks like a sixth spindle could be in my future 😂
Thank you for providing such a lovely breakfast company for me during advent.😊 I love the little dancer and if you have some Jacobs and/or Manx Logdan I woud love to see that. ⭐️

Ramboule fiber and love the nutty acorn😊
I am enjoying your vlogmas espisodes! I am really partial to the third spindle , Nutty, love the wood.
All the spindles were gorgeous!! I think I would have to pick dancer as my favorite. Enjoy your vlogmas. Would love to see you spin up some sick yarn. Maybe something with silk in it.
What a great vlogmas episode! My favorite spindle is the dancer!
I really love 1 and 2! Very much looking forward to the supported spindle tutorial, I'm very new to spinning (working on my second drop spindle project as we speak) and I love the look of these and I definitely want to give one a go.

Wow! I can’t believe the spin time on those. I’d love to see how cotton spins on Dancer
Nutty is my favourite. I love the colour. Lucky you.
They are all beautiful, but I love the dark color of the Nutty one. Ive never used a supported spindle, but there look so pretty! Makes me want to try :)
I'm loving my metal tipped spindles at the moment, so I'll go with Spindle 1. But they're all lovely!
I really liked nutty, the shape and the colour made it look weighty but it spun so smoothly
I think I like #3.Cant wait to see you working with them.
I love the look of the dancer one! I would also love for a supported spinning tutorial with alpaca (my friend gave me some fleeces and I'm a beginner so I'm slowly spinning on my wheel but I'd love to learn how to also use a drop/supported spindle)
I think wool, alpaca and silk for a super luscious battery to test the spindles
These spindles are so gorgeous!!
I love them all! My favorite is #3 (the dark one) ❤
Beautiful haul. Happy spinning 😊❤
