The Sayed had limited time to address the story of Prophet Isa’s birth on Christmas day. Therefore, he could not mention all the details. He wanted the audience to hear about the story, which was their first time hearing it, so he mentioned the main points in the story.

1. You made a first claim that the scriptures Jesus opened up to his disciples were the Hebrew scriptures which is false the entire NT was written 40-50 years after Jesus had departed. Can you admit that atleast
2. The Trinity is not found in the OT trust me if thats the case they wouldn't be any Jews. I knew your were being dishonest because you couldnt quote a single verse. The biggest and most known Christians scholars all agree that the Trinity does not exist in the bible so what are you on about. If your telling the truth go ahead and quote me one verse.
3. Melchizedek is irrelevant and so are all the other points lets talk about Prophet Jesus. You quoted Pslam 110 you do know the word *Lord* does not mean actually God but it means someone who is looked up and admire. Many prophets are called Lord.
4. The word "Son" was used *metaphorically* and not *literally* hence why Prophet Eprahim is called *God First Born Son* and Prophet David is called *Begotten Son of God*. If I recall Prophet Jesus in the bible is not called either first born or called begotten son. Will you know worship Prophet Eprahim and David huh?? I always quote my verses btw they are below read it carefully.

Pete Kondolios there is nowhere in the Bible that it says “3 in 1.” You’re quoting verses from different places that “imply” Jesus is God. Also “imply” that the Holy Spirit is God. Also, the father (Allah) is God. Let me make it simple. One of the attributes of God is that he can speak whenever he want. The Holy Spirit has to have permission to speak from the father. Therefore, the Holy Spirit is NOT God. One of the attributes of God is that he’s limitless. Jesus was limited. Therefore, Jesus is not God. When Jesus refers to God, he always refers to him as the father, one, etc... Also, Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man.” The only true God is the father (Allah). Stop lying to yourself.

19. The Religion before Allah is Islam (submission to His Will): Nor did the People of the Book dissent therefrom except through envy of each other, after knowledge had come to them. But if any deny the Signs of Allah, Allah is swift in calling to account.
20. So if they dispute with thee, say: "I have submitted My whole self(360) to Allah and so have those who follow me." And say to the People of the Book and to those who are unlearned(361): "Do ye (also) submit yourselves?" If they do, they are in right guidance, but if they turn back, Thy duty is to convey the Message; and in Allah.s sight are (all) His servants

21. As to those who deny the Signs of Allah and in defiance of right, slay the prophets, and slay those who teach just dealing with mankind, announce to them a grievous penalty.
22. They are those whose works will bear no fruit in this world and in the Hereafter nor will they have anyone to help.
23. Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who have been given a portion of the Book? They are invited to the Book of Allah, to settle their dispute, but a party of them Turn back and decline (The arbitration).
24. This because they say: "The Fire shall not touch us but for a few numbered days": For their forgeries deceive them as to their own religion.
25. But how (will they fare) when we gather them together against a day about which there is no doubt, and each soul will be paid out just what it has earned, without (favour or) injustice?
26. Say: "O Allah. Lord of Power (And Rule), Thou givest power to whom Thou pleasest, and Thou strippest off power from whom Thou pleasest: Thou enduest with honour whom Thou pleasest, and Thou bringest low whom Thou pleasest: In Thy hand is all good. Verily, over all things Thou hast power.
27. "Thou causest the night to gain on the day, and thou causest the day to gain on the night; Thou bringest the Living out of the dead, and Thou bringest the dead out of the Living; and Thou givest sustenance to whom Thou pleasest, without measure."
28. Let not the believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah. except by way of precaution, that ye may Guard yourselves from them. But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself; for the final goal is to Allah.
29. Say: "Whether ye hide what is in your hearts or reveal it, Allah knows it all: He knows what is in the heavens, and what is on earth. And Allah has power over all things.
30. "On the Day when every soul will be confronted with all the good it has done, and all the evil it has done, it will wish there were a great distance between it and its evil. But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself. And Allah is full of kindness to those that serve Him."
31. Say: "If ye do love Allah, Follow me: Allah will love you and forgive you your sins: For Allah is Oft- Forgiving, Most Merciful."
32. Say: "Obey Allah and His Messenger.: But if they turn back, Allah loveth not those who reject Faith.
33. Allah did choose Adam and Noah, the family of Abraham, and the family of ´Imran above all people,-

70. Leave alone those who take their religion to be mere play and amusement, and are deceived by the life of this world. But proclaim (to them) this (truth): that every soul delivers itself to ruin by its own acts: it will find for itself no protector or intercessor except Allah. if it offered every ransom, (or reparation), none will be accepted: such is (the end of) those who deliver themselves to ruin by their own acts: they will have for drink (only) boiling water, and for punishment, one most grievous: for they persisted in rejecting Allah.
71. Say: "Shall we indeed call on others besides Allah,- things that can do us neither good nor harm,- and turn on our heels after receiving guidance from Allah. - like one whom the evil ones have made into a fool, wandering bewildered through the earth, his friends calling, come to us´, (vainly) guiding him to the path." Say: "(Allah)´s guidance is the (only) guidance, and we have been directed to submit ourselves to the Lord of the worlds;-
72. "To establish regular prayers and to fear Allah. for it is to Him that we shall be gathered together."
73. It is He who created the heavens and the earth in true (proportions): the day He saith, "Be," behold! it is. His word is the truth. His will be the dominion the day the trumpet will be blown. He knoweth the unseen as well as that which is open. For He is the Wise, well acquainted (with all things).
Surah Al Maide / Chapter 5 The Dinner Table
51. O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust.
52. Those in whose hearts is a disease - thou seest how eagerly they run about amongst them, saying: "We do fear lest a change of fortune bring us disaster." Ah! perhaps Allah will give (thee) victory, or a decision according to His will. Then will they repent of the thoughts which they secretly harboured in their hearts.
53. And those who believe will say: "Are these the men who swore their strongest oaths by Allah, that they were with you?" All that they do will be in vain, and they will fall into (nothing but) ruin.
54. O ye who believe! if any from among you turn back from his Faith, soon will Allah produce a people whom He will love as they will love Him,- lowly with the believers, mighty against the rejecters, fighting in the way of Allah, and never afraid of the reproaches of such as find fault. That is the grace of Allah, which He will bestow on whom He pleaseth. And Allah encompasseth all, and He knoweth all things.
55. Your (real) friends are (no less than) Allah, His Messenger, and the (fellowship of) believers,- those who establish regular prayers and regular charity, and they bow down humbly (in worship).
56. As to those who turn (for friendship) to Allah, His Messenger, and the (fellowship of) believers,- it is the fellowship of Allah that must certainly triumph.

Whilst it's great you have a Christian friend, you need to be aware that Muslims and Christians don't worship the same god. Christians believe Jesus is God Muslims don't. If you friend believes that you worship the same god, your friend is not a Christian. No matter what Muslims are taught and believe about Christianity, they do not worship the same god. Christians have been telling Muslims this for centuries.

The Qur'an does not reject reading the Bible. Instead, it gives many positive references concerning the Bible and the importance for Muslims to read it:
"Lo! We did reveal the Torah, wherein is guidance and a light" (Sura 5:44).
"And We caused Jesus, son of Mary, to follow in their footsteps, confirming that which was (revealed) before him in the Torah, and We bestowed on him the Gospel wherein is guidance and a light, confirming that which was (revealed) before it in the Torah - a guidance and an admonition unto those who ward off (evil)" (Sura 5:46).
"It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, the Book, confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this, as a guide to mankind, and He sent down the criterion (of judgment between right and wrong)" (Sura 3:3).
"And be not thou of those who deny the revelations of Allah, for then wert thou of the losers" (Sura 10:95).

This is the story exactly from the Quran on how Jesus was born :
And mention, [O Muhammad], in the Book [the story of] Mary, when she withdrew from her family to a place toward the east.
And she took, in seclusion from them, a screen. Then We sent to her Our Angel, and he represented himself to her as a well-proportioned man.
She said, "Indeed, I seek refuge in the Most Merciful from you, [so leave me], if you should be fearing of Allah ."
He said, "I am only the messenger of your Lord to give you [news of] a pure boy."
She said, "How can I have a boy while no man has touched me and I have not been unchaste?"
He said, "Thus [it will be]; your Lord says, 'It is easy for Me, and We will make him a sign to the people and a mercy from Us. And it is a matter [already] decreed.' "
And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm tree. She said, "Oh, I wish I had died before this and was in oblivion, forgotten."
But he called her from below her, "Do not grieve; your Lord has provided beneath you a stream.
And shake toward you the trunk of the palm tree; it will drop upon you ripe, fresh dates.

This is a brilliant speaker. I don't really mind that he's a Shia muslim. It's the message he wished to deliver - faith and love. He was very careful to give examples and anecdotes that are generic and moving that could be accepted by any intellectual audience be it Christians, Sunni or Shia. Most importantly he managed to get the message across that we all believe in prophet Jesus peace be upon him, and this is possible through faith and love. Beautiful isn't it?

Reverting to Islam is the best decision you have ever made.. I ask Allah to maintain you on the Right Path. But while learning about Islam and practising, you shouldn't only "been told" to do or say things , you should ask and know *"why"* ?
So, if you have been told not to wish a "marry christmas" it's only because doing so is congratulating them for their Faith, for their believes, for believing that *Jesus is the Son of God* _wal'iyadhu billah_ ! It means that you agree and confirm this belief (...).
But surely you can still wish them a good morning, a good evening, share _"halal"_ food with them, come to help, be honest, etc. All the human things you might do with your muslim brothers BUT NOT the things which go against your _"Aqida and Tawhid"._

What’s the difference between Jesus the son of god and the rest of mankind as sons of god? Does it occur to you that may be some things were lost in translation? and why in the 10 commandments God is addressing directly Moses whereas in the other texts it seems like it’s written by someone else? How many authors are there? Why were all the things about Jesus written after he was raised to heaven? Why isn’t God himself taking directly just like in the 10th commandments? Why did the concept of trinity appeared only later on, but not in early Christianity? Why in the Old Testament God is one but the concept of trinity is added later on? And if God has superiority over Jesus and the Holy Spirit why are they all gods? Who created who?
There are so many questions honestly that makes it hard to believe in Christianity.

Shia Muslims are truly beautiful and genuine people. They understand persecution and support Christians who are persecuted in Islamic countries just like they are. They've even put their own lives on the line to protect Christians and other minorities. Our friendship is a meaningful one.
