Having you to communicate and talk about ideas is like having Michael Jordan of 99 and LeBron of 2012 in the same room talk about basketball got to love it!!
Wow, 2 of my heroes in one place, frigging awesome!
I have both of your books BTW.
two of my favourite people...amazing
keep this awesome stuff coming guys
THANK YOU
I was there for that MWod visiting. Great gym there is exactly right, amazing to meet THE KStarr and Carl Paoli. Thanks for the info and help!
I've been waiting for Kelly and Gray to discuss each others body of work for quite some time. It's great that they agree on the same fundamental topics; although, I already assumed this as I am familiar with both of their work. Fantastic stuff, look forward to more collaboration in the future.
Well done Kelly hopefully people get the concept that movement competency comes before capacity!
This is an absolute gem.
Wow!! So great to see these two geniuses talk!!!
THIS DUO AS AWESOMENESS WRITTEN ALL OVER IT!
2 Legends. they are saving our society from its own horrible/necessary/forced movement habits.
Iv read the books. Some of it is very old school, some of it is useful for just getting moving - In a nutshell its a screening tool with low sensitivity but might be worth trying on SOME people. Some leaps of faith with regards to FMS. That's as exciting as it gets people. Love.
Both of my hero's in one video.... goodness
I have been waiting for this since I found Kelly and mWod
Thanks, for the vid. It'd be great to see Gray take Kelly through a full fms screen and see what he scores. Maybe afterwards, Gray could take the test too...
A thing of beauty
Thanks for the vid Kelly! I enjoy your work!
Love it, Kelly, thanks!
Thanks for introducing me to this guy K star, keep it real bro you're the shit.
My PT hero's in the same room !!!!!!
Really cool, very grateful for the vid.
So awesome! Need more! Also, does anybody if they'll be streaming the Gray Cook vs Dr. Stu McGill debate on the inter web?
Like seeing Al Capone and John Gotti in one room !!! Love it
...mind BLOWN!
So, you could apply the FMS screening techniques to help with chiropractic care? From a patients perspective.
Awesome!
whoa! great vid.
Spot on!!
Great Vid bro
Had to pause this and take a break to recover after the word document analogy...
Kelly, I just saw an ad for a sensor device that supposedly helps the person wearing it with posture. (Lumo Lift) What do you think? Snake oil or potentially useful tool?
Full on Gents!
Coneting the dots master
at 5:10 Gray is talking about not just cue to correct movement. thats treaitng the smoke and not the fire. we should never coach around/thru mobility/functional problems to get an exercise right. hes so right. i work in NYC, ive been trainer for a long time, ive managed also. it sounds and looks great when trainers say " knees out! knees out! heels down, engage the core" it looks like they are catching all these problems , diagnosing on the spot and correcting in seconds, meanwhile they are just putting a band aid on WHY that person is moving bad. Fixing exercises can help but thats not the root of the problem.
VinnyLogz what's a better solution than pointing out the problem and cue the correct technique
kevindrake714 what's better is having the person understand why their body is moving that way to begin with. It's like when a child does something wrong, you can tell them what to do instead, but having them understand why is much more important in the long run
Well I know who's word to respect more based off who practices better movement and positions, constantly. Watch the video again and compare postures throughout the video and you'll see.
+Steven Medrano I also have a really hard time taking anyone serious who looks like they haven't exercised in years. At least Kelly can move well AND looks like he can do something athletic.

Category: Comedy?...too funny!
This video would be so much better if Starrett didn't speak. Cook a genius.
two adrenalised silverbacks with impaired body schema, impoverished movement and breathing pattern disorders. the notion of patterns is not new - merely new to post-cartesian coaches who think they have discovered wholism. ironically screens are relatively insensitive to quality - refined observation is - screens are only as useful as the person administering it. traditional moment practices based on refined interoception transcend this biomechanical desert and x-fit thuggery
Are Kelly on the juice? TRT?
Turboencabulator.
