Another fabulous enabling show. I’m considering starting an LHN Hometown Holiday series chart on Friday. You have inspired me to finally start that village. 🤦🏽♀️
Oh Caroline, it is all so tempting! I want to start it all, but I have mess in my stash and don’t even remember what I have started a long time ago🙈 Love your choices, would love to start some of them along with you, and who knows.. may be I will 😁
Caroline, you are a dangerous woman!☺ So many beautiful, wonderful patterns. And I really, really want to learn how to knit...socks! But I'm left-handed, so I haven't found anyone who can teach me. Thank you for your visits. They make my day!
Ahhh well. I’m giving in. Since October is my birth month, I’m treating myself. I bought October by the Artsy House wife and I’m starting it in October. lol. I love it all. Beautiful colors and the fall is my favorite time of year. Im excited 🎉🥳
When you mentioned that those who have been watching for a long time may wonder what happened to this project... I had a mini slideshow run through my mind of about 10 charts that you have talked about and I wonder about - Then you showed one I'd forgotten! Now to watch a few episodes that I've missed and a few classics to see all the wonderful stitchy goodness again.
Good gravy…..Autumn Hill! I have never seen that one before! Gorgeous! I am stitching September’s Return and LOVE it so much! I did the alphabet first so I could mull on those fields some. What I figured out is Ellen did us a good turn by making the darker outline of the fields with a beautiful symmetry. So I outlined the fields first and they seem to be going much more smoothly. I am plowing across the fields with some simple rows that go across……but no matter how you stitch it……it is so original and fun! 🎉😊❤
Hello Caroline I'm truly enjoying hearing about your goals and accomplishments...I know you enjoy stitching homes and villages right now and I had a thought that it would be totally enjoyable to take a picture of your lake home and have someone chart it so you could stitch it...Wouldn't that be great !!! I know the lake home is a place that's very dear to your heart....
Just had to order my Cats out of the bag and now Jacobs Frouwke Sijmens Bos 1792. Felt a bit lazy after counting all your samplers. Take care luv your videos - inspiration overload!!!!
I don’t actually know. Usually designers will give shops a few months after market - but you could check Gigis videos - she might have more info there or on her IG account?
Well, no dog in the house but we have a parrot. My husband feels your pain because he is my bird, all mine and that's the way it will remain. Birds are a different creature and he likes to make my husband's life miserable. He's a free bird and has climbed off his cage and trapped my husband in the bedroom or gets on the floor and chases him from room to room. LOL. I think it's funny but it's also a bit dangerous. That beak is nothing to goof around with. Been watching you from the very beginning and when you were part of the threesome as well. Fabulous projects.
Oooh maybe I need to go get my country cottage wip!! Thanks for the inspiration. ❤ help me understand 2 things, anyone???? What is 50 for 50? And can you explain stitch count? Is it the amount of stitches??? I’ve been stitching forever and stitch what I like irregardless of stitch count. Thanks! I love our community of stitchers.
Stitch count is the number of threads per inch on your fabric. Remembering that you often (but not always) stitch over 2 threads on linen. So 16 count Aida and 32 count linen will both have 16 crosses per inch; while 20 count aida and 40 count linen will have 20 crosses per inch. The higher the fabric count, the smaller your end piece (although the number of crosses are the same, the amount of fabric they take up is different) This only really matters when you are choosing your fabric (is the piece big enough?); and, sometimes, if you're stitching to fit a particular frame or display box.
I have a knitting playlist on my channel if you click the Playlist tab on the main page the you should see all of the knitting videos there. Thank you for asking!

Love love love the Frosty Forest! I have 4 WIPS and that causes palpitations! You and your stitching are amazing!
I love all of the projects! Surprisingly for me, I am sticking with September’s Return. The crops are such fun to stitch.
Thanks for sharing and please take care and be safe..

Maybe in October you can do a review of September stitches.
Hi Caroline! Is it that time of year already?! Loved hearing about your plans! 💝
Caroline - Do you know when the Artsy Housewife new patterns will be available in digital format? Just wondering if you knew.
I don’t actually know. Usually designers will give shops a few months after market - but you could check Gigis videos - she might have more info there or on her IG account?

Oh thank you Dorothy for such a wonderful story and kind comment. Your poor husband! (Though I can see how it's funny, the poor fella) xx

@@annryan8274 thanks so much. I was actually meaning like a project 120 by 240 etc. what does that mean? Thanks for the great explanation though.
@@staciefallon5347 The project size: 120 cross stitches across and 240 crosses down.
@@annryan8274 thanks I just didn’t know if that means squares or stitches. Sorry I’m not so good at expressing what I’m trying to say. 😆
You make me dizzy with all your projects! How do you keep them straight?! 😂
It’s a luxury to have a stash pile and select what ever tickles my fancy on a given day for sure!!. ❤️
Where do I find your sock tutorial?

I abandoned Frosty Forest after completing only one chart.
You still finished one!
You are a very busy lady. We need to have someone invent a 40 hour day so we can stitch and craft everything we find beautiful. 🦉🪡🧵🇨🇦
