Where else have you seen a glass COP, ceiling, door and all four walls?
According to state records, this installation was done by Schindler in 1999.

This is the only museum I've been to where the elevator is also an exhibit. This Atrium use to be part of Central High School. COSI moved into it and turned it into a museum. COSI has been around since the mid 1960's, showcasing displays of scientific and artistic marvels. Ranging from displays of human anatomy, to wreckage from the ill fated Titanic of 1912.
