Alex Gærtner A good mix is usually a clean mix and it can actually be defined pretty easily. It's basically how much extra noise there is and how well you can hear the instruments apart from each other. Most simple example to listen for is how much certain instruments seem to sound softer when another instrument is playing. But of course it's also the case that there's tons of side chain compression in this genre (which actually makes it a hell of a lot easier). Point for you: for it's genre it's good, probably because Fox Stevenson started in DnB.
I'm late to the party. I just started to get into Fox Stevenson a little over a year ago when I first heard Benny Benassi play Hoohah. But I can now say I really like him and this song is amazing.
