the problem that I see is that some countries have 4-5 modern MBTs they can put in their lineup, plus the atgms launchers, SPAAGs, TDs, etc, while some other just have one single modern MBT that isn't even that well performing. I know this is how it works irl, but still. It's a game, not real life, you gotta think about your playerbase's enjoyment too

I wonder, if you even play your own game at that particular BR. SAMs and helo's ATGMs aside, there is a huge performance gap between the first 2nd gen MBTs that have been introduced (M1 Abrams, T-64B, Leopard 2K and 2A4, Ariete, AMX 40) and the later ones (M1A1 Abrams, T-80B/U, Leopard 2A5, Leclerc, Type 90)... For the moment, top tier is a really frustrating BR to play, and what is the goal of grinding a tech tree if coming to the end isn't appealing at all? All you have to do, is to decompress the BR, that is compressed from 6.7 to the really high end of any tech tree. You just have, like, I don't know, maybe for 1.91, to do a big test-server update where all BRs are modified, and constantly adjusted with the player's feedback before it even touches the live server. THAT would fix the game. The whole ground forces part. Also, doing a BR decompression could allow much better balance for some "strong" tanks, that are clubbing everything they see at their BR, but couldn't do much and become trash tanks if they were put any higher in the tech tree. For the moment, this is ""balanced"" by putting on the vehicle an insanely high repair cost, like we see for pretty much all the 4th era tanks in the French tech tree (even for vehicles that aren't that powerful at that). This could be fixed with a BR increase instead, giving the players an opportunity to play those vehicles, that are now balanced, without breaking the bank. Gaijin, you have all it takes to make this game better, and by better I mean an incredible game. Dearly, Someone that loves your game and doesn't want to see it die anytime soon

useless function for tank, if turn on light when in night battle you would be the first to die cause enemy team would see you first, so no one would turn light on, so it is no point to add light for tank. landing light for aircraft in night battle can be useful but the player must be able to manual turn on or off.
SomsoKca all tanks should have lights on in night battles. Then you can actually see the enemies. It would make night battles a lot more straight forward and not a game of luck

The Egyptian tanks left their dug in positions supported by ATGMs and the air defense network to attack Israeli positions, The IDF stopped the advance and broke through Egyptian defenses, crossing over the Suez into Egypt and encircling the Egyptian 3rd army stuck in the Sinai. 5: Israel got to within shelling distance of Damascus and almost to shelling distance of Cairo before the war came to an end.

few things to say: 1. Tank don't stop immediately right after it die! 2. We really need a player to be the commander of the hole team in each battle. 3. The most important one, the repair cost for some vehicle are too high!? specially for Germany.
Are you going to rework some of the maps? Some of the maps could be reworked like the Middle East map to improve balance and make is so that both sides of the map are fairly equal.
A little interesting fact to the last question in video (about turning off jet engine to evade heat seeking missile): Advanced heat seeking missile (for example AIM-9M) can track even heat generated by air-friction around flying airplane, so it can theoretically lock on gliders, etc... This feature is used mainly in head to head combat, when you can't "see" oponent's jet exhausts. More advanced heat seeking missiles (for example AIM-9X) can even lock on stationary aircraft (in ideal situations though). How? Imagine that aircraft is standing still on parking lot in a hot summer day. It's airframe will have slightly higher temperature than the "background". Advanced heat seekers can see even this relatively slight temperature differention. These advanced heat seeking missile are not implemented in-game, they were/are used since early 80's.

What determines what rank vehicles go in? It's can't just be BR since rank 2 vehicles range all the way from 1.3 to 4.3 and the highest rank 2 vehicle is at a 2.7 BR.
It would only have stealth from the front if any, but if Gaijin ads radar guided SAMs (which would be awesome) it could be useful at longer range, or if the radar is weak.
@@adibar9066 yeah the Ho 229s paint is supposed to not deflect radar waves but absorb them. Sending, in consequence, nothing back and resulting in no signal given from it.
The only way I can see it working is it being atleast 100 kms away from flat terrain so that the radar would hit it at a small enough angle for it to be anywhere near effective

As an Egyptian and the deputy of the EGY clan, I am really happy for the research and credit are given to the Egyptian Army and the Egyptian Air Defense forces unlike some uneducated people only listening to the media that say Egypt was destroyed by Israel. The research done was pretty much accurate and nothing was biased and WE did make mistakes like advancing beyond the "umbrella". It was, as described by our general EL SHAZLY, a limited offensive plan till the furthest our air defenses could cover since the IAF rendered so much of our capabilities useless like the navy and the army with no cover (lesson: air superiority is always a must). However, there is one more thing I would like to add which is that even though this day was a holy day for Israel, it was also Ramadan for the Muslims and it was 2 pm where the sun was burning through the deserts and the soldiers are waiting till 7pm till they eat. Thank you again Gaijin!

Hey WAR THUNDER TEAM! I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that the option to be able to remove pointless things like tarps etc on your tank would be a good feature. Not every BMP1 every made had a big tarp wrapping the turret, it makes less space for decals etc

Why is it everytime I play the American P47 Thunderbolt, my tail control, only my tail control gets destroyed, any enemy just shoots me a couple of times and my tail control gets destroyed.

I play mostly ground forces so my opinion would only have value there (these are not in order of importance). That being said I have a few suggestions on more appealing yet no less rigorous gameplay and progression: 1) The problem with large maps. When implementing larger maps the idea is to create a "long range engagement" type map. Currently all larger maps give the player options (they dont have to engage at long range there is often an area where the player can flank or ambush or brawl at a little town in the middle). This is poor because as the battle develops, the players proficiency at long range accuracy becomes challenged and those who struggle or are in a vehicle which is inferior in LRE (low shell velocity, long reload, inferior scope zoom, etc.) will underperform which might cost them a battle. Dedicating large maps to LRE would force the player to learn to improve their LRE skills (much like how we are forced to learn weak spots on tanks and other things) and give players who ask for larger maps what they REALLY want. 2. "Ghost Shells" shells that register on the hit camera and penetrate but cause not damage as they phase through crew and critical components, or shells that just dont register at all. 3. Repair Cost to %SL gain ratio. A lot of vehicles (not just ground) have absurd repair costs yet have the same % modifier as cheaper repair vehicles and vehicles of lower ranks (check the bottom of vehicle statcards if you are curious), some over 100% cheaper in repair. As a result this affects research and progress because it is not that players cant afford the repair, its that players lose as much as they earn at times. Essentially the crew cost and new vehicle cost rises linearly unlike the %SL gain which plateaus at around Rank III for ground vehicles. 4. Uptiers (for ground forces at least) should be no more than +/- 0.7 BR until there os a BR decompression 5. All Rank IV and V premium vehicles should be increased at most 0.3 BR as the spamming of said vehicles corrupts traditional metas. This change will increase premium players' learning experiences (which will make them more humble and less likely to quit playing War Thunder when they have to use tech tree vehicles) Thats all I can think of for ground forces right now People come to play video games because they are fun and can be an escape, this brings clients to War Thunder. When a game becomes stressful and inconsistent, people leave and the game's popularity suffers. If War Thuder adopted more fun and consistent gameplay aspects it will be extremely popular and more profitable.
Very interesting how the video manages to completely forget about the Barlev line, which was considered the strongest fortifications ever built. The Barlev defensive line which Israel built for years along the Suez canal, and thought to be impenetrable. Was crushed and over come by the Egyptian army in 6 hours. The video here shows the crossing of the canal like a piece of cake, when I'm reality it was one of the most ingenious military achievements in the 20th century

As an Egyptian and the deputy of the EGY clan, I am really happy for the research and credit are given to the Egyptian Army and the Egyptian Air Defense forces unlike some uneducated people only listening to the media that say Egypt was destroyed by Israel. The research done was pretty much accurate and nothing was biased and WE did make mistakes like advancing beyond the "umbrella". It was, as described by our general EL SHAZLY, a limited offensive plan till the furthest our air defenses could cover since the IAF rendered so much of our capabilities useless like the navy and the army with no cover (lesson: air superiority is always a must). However, there is one more thing I would like to add which is that even though this day was a holy day for Israel, it was also Ramadan for the Muslims and it was 2 pm where the sun was burning through the deserts and the soldiers are waiting till 7pm till they eat. Thank you again Gaijin!

I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that the option to be able to remove pointless things like tarps etc on your tank would be a good feature. Not every BMP1 every made had a big tarp wrapping the turret, it makes less space for decals etc

I play mostly ground forces so my opinion would only have value there (these are not in order of importance). That being said I have a few suggestions on more appealing yet no less rigorous gameplay and progression:
1) The problem with large maps.
When implementing larger maps the idea is to create a "long range engagement" type map. Currently all larger maps give the player options (they dont have to engage at long range there is often an area where the player can flank or ambush or brawl at a little town in the middle). This is poor because as the battle develops, the players proficiency at long range accuracy becomes challenged and those who struggle or are in a vehicle which is inferior in LRE (low shell velocity, long reload, inferior scope zoom, etc.) will underperform which might cost them a battle. Dedicating large maps to LRE would force the player to learn to improve their LRE skills (much like how we are forced to learn weak spots on tanks and other things) and give players who ask for larger maps what they REALLY want.
2. "Ghost Shells"
shells that register on the hit camera and penetrate but cause not damage as they phase through crew and critical components, or shells that just dont register at all.
3. Repair Cost to %SL gain ratio.
A lot of vehicles (not just ground) have absurd repair costs yet have the same % modifier as cheaper repair vehicles and vehicles of lower ranks (check the bottom of vehicle statcards if you are curious), some over 100% cheaper in repair. As a result this affects research and progress because it is not that players cant afford the repair, its that players lose as much as they earn at times. Essentially the crew cost and new vehicle cost rises linearly unlike the %SL gain which plateaus at around Rank III for ground vehicles.
4. Uptiers (for ground forces at least) should be no more than +/- 0.7 BR until there os a BR decompression
5. All Rank IV and V premium vehicles should be increased at most 0.3 BR as the spamming of said vehicles corrupts traditional metas. This change will increase premium players' learning experiences (which will make them more humble and less likely to quit playing War Thunder when they have to use tech tree vehicles)
Thats all I can think of for ground forces right now
People come to play video games because they are fun and can be an escape, this brings clients to War Thunder. When a game becomes stressful and inconsistent, people leave and the game's popularity suffers. If War Thuder adopted more fun and consistent gameplay aspects it will be extremely popular and more profitable.
Very interesting how the video manages to completely forget about the Barlev line, which was considered the strongest fortifications ever built. The Barlev defensive line which Israel built for years along the Suez canal, and thought to be impenetrable. Was crushed and over come by the Egyptian army in 6 hours.
The video here shows the crossing of the canal like a piece of cake, when I'm reality it was one of the most ingenious military achievements in the 20th century
