Guys, would it be possible to have a small tutorial on how to use the chess board? I don't mean the normal way of using it, like placing an item and merging it on a table, I mean merging more than one board if possible so you can put more items together... I don't know if I explained myself well, example: putting a bottle stuck to a glass...
I've been thinking about this to be honest. Quite a lot going on at the moment though but it is something I will keep in mind. Here is a rundown of how I use them: Instead of merging the board into the table or whatever surface, instead place the board on the edge of another floor item (i'll use a plushie for this example). Place the chessboard down onto the very corner edge of the plushie's foot and begin merging on the plate. When the chessboard is nearly level with the bottom of the plushie, pick up the plushie and place it on the table or surface u want as a test. Sometimes when you're merging, the chessboard will still look like it is "above ground" when it is on the pressure plate, but when you move it to a table the chessboard disappears. This depends on the surface you're placing it on. If you've gone too far down or it isn't sitting right, use the camp module to jack it up once, then back on the plate 3 times. Sometimes you need to go back and forth from the plate to the camp module a couple times to get it just right (especially magazines and other thin items). There are 2 benefits to this method. 1 The chessboard is not stuck to the table or surface and can now be placed anywhere freely and once placed the display is still interactable most the time. 2) You can place displayed items far closer together, or often you can merge them entirely. I hope this made sense. Sorry for the essay. If you still need help u can join our discord and send me a msg :) Cheers!
