- In this special report, NDTV revisits the entire sequence of events beginning from the serial blasts that happened in 2008 in Delhi till the Batla House encounter. The Delhi Police's special cell that was investigating the blasts reportedly received a tip-off about terrorists being holed up in a house in Batla House, Jamia Nagar, Delhi. After the house was surrounded by the police, an encounter took place in which Inspector MC Sharma was killed along with the two alleged terrorists residing in the house. (Audio in Hindi)

Its unbelievable that supposedly leading TV channel puts out a headline like this. The title as well as the tone of the whole report is like being reported on Mujahudeen TV. Congress, Intellectuals and Jamia Milia's students treating terrorists who has opened fire in a residential place are treated as victims while police who are trying to protect the citizens are treated as villains'.
All these hiding under the grab of 'secularism' and human rights stand exposed.
But what about the reputation of an upright police officer who attained martyrdom was dragged thru the muck by these traitors

Hey Ash Ish , I honestly don't know anything in this case. Now that you told me these were students. The guns must be illegal. About the status thing, within India if you stay more in into rural places the influential locals are most often seen with a gun. I say this only because I travelled both to North and South of India. They themselves say it makes them feel powerful and safe. To an extent it's true because things can get out of hand in the places I went. And such places are usually hard for police to move quick due to terrain issues. So it's locally approved to take things in hand.

If a person would knock at the door ...one would open the door or would start firing?? The terrorist knew they were caught and therefore in order to protect themselves from the encounter they started the firing on the officer. I guess the terrorist who ran one day before must have warned the remaining terrorist about the encounter and hence they started the firing as soon as the officer knocked.
