Great video, i haven't been able to get to Elmley for a while, so it was good to accompany you on your road trip. 60 species is pretty impressive.! Thank you for making bird photography seem accessible, as a rookie, I really appreciate that!
@@stormcabbirds That pale cream patch on the back of the head should've been the give away. Fem/juvi type. 👍 It's how we learn mate, getting things wrong. I do it everyday.
I wish I still had your enthusiasm. Bloody weather has killed it off for me this year. I used to be out almost every day. This year, two or three times a week. Much as I love Elmley, I can't afford to fill the car up every other day. Moan, moan, moan lol....Gotta love that Kestrel.
Same with the 2-3 times a week. I save the bad days for chores at home and editing videos. Sunday was my first day off work in 11 days, so I planned to have the whole day there, and editing at night. Every day is exhausting.
@@stormcabbirds Hahah no some images were really great man! Its just that those few that were bad i got a feeling you said okay i got the photo of the species, lets move on instead of trying to get a bit better one, since you clearly know how to! :D
@@sicr626 yeah the idea was to get the numbers in. I didn’t want to spend 20 minutes trying to get a better crow photo lol. When bird watchers go out to record numbers, they might see 30/50/70, but not all will be 6 feet away. In another video series I may go for presenting only the best of what I got.

No problem. That will be the aim of many of my videos, to show the more accessible side of bird watching
Marsh Harrier at 15:15 another great video mate, keep em coming.

Maybe instead of focusing on getting as many species as you can, you should focus on the quality of your images :)
Ouch! Sir, I am hurt 😭 😂
