I currently use the Laura mercier medium deep as a finishing powder; and it’s just does the job. It keeps the oil on my face 🔒. I recommend it 💯, It’s worth its cost

Hi Dimma, I hope you're okay 💕💕 I believe you are from your snaps 😊. I miss your videos 😭😭☹️. I thought you were going to re-upload the highlight before foundation one(even though I already saw it 😊❤) I believe this is you taking a break 💕(you should). I didn't get a reply on instagram so i decided to come to TH-cam. I just wanted you to know that I miss your voice, videos, face and everything 😭😭. You're my favorite Nigerian beauty blogger just so you know and I love what you do. You inspire me so much and I pray I grow up to be just like you someday. PS I love you so much 😭😭😘😘😘

I am combination skin and the Laura Mericer translucent powder dried my under eyes concealer up, therefore, I am using Sisley-Paris Sable #4 very expensive(special occasions) for setting my entire face and it makes my Dior Nude Skin II #15 sheer foundation flawless. I also use a new Japanese all over setting powder in a neutral tan brown with oil control, all day wear, light feel for everyday wear called Lui Ming on Amazon for under $3 USD, so I had to order 1 more. I use Bare minerals Pro in Nutmeg foundation and/or finishing powder to bring warmth back after my setting powder is fantastic. I also use YSL Terre Saharan finishing powder, but, my Bare minerals Pro is a better foundation powder. great video

Hi Dimma!! The first powder you mentioned might be marketed in the US as Maybelline Better Skin powder...it looks very similar!
I use another drugstore brand, Elf. I don’t know if they’re available in Nigeria..? They have a few different types, but I favor the loose HD powder. I’m planning to try the Kat Von D and the Cover FX soon...almost sale time at Sephora! 💙💙💙

Hi Dimma, I've been watching you for a few months now. I absolutely love all your videos. you're doing a great job for us women of colour. This video could not have come at a better time. I was toying with the idea of purchasing the Laura mercier and you've just confirmed it for me. I've just bought it. Thank you. Also, have you tried the Sacha buttercup and cover fx translucent powders. I find those really good for oily skin. ☺️

Mac Studio Fox, make up for ever duo mat, nyx stay matte not flat powder, Benefit hello flawless and Kat Von d lock it are some of my favorite face powders that are pressed. Too faced peach, tarte loose powder, the Laura Mercier one that you have in the video and Mac prep and prime are my favorite loose powders. I will try the Iman one you have there.

The laura mercier can't be disputed it is one of the best but if you are acne prone i strongly advice against it. It does contain corn, which is like a feeding ground for acne bacteria.

As usual Dimma a beautiful detailed blog ! have u tried MAC'S blot powder ? I think they have just 3 or 4 shades - light, dark and deep dark. I use their NW45. So it might be best for you to try the deep dark which I use as well. let me know what you think ?! x

Thanks so much for this vid, Miss D! I was gifted the Cover fx setting powder in translucent deep; luckily I had a sample of it to try for a couple of days! It gives off an odd caste...a tad ashy on my deep complexion. So I'll be giving the Laura Mercier a go! Cheers my sister! 😊

Hey Dimma! Thanks for the video. Have you come across the Iman Luminous Powder in Earth 1? It's also a pressed powder like Earth Medium. I used to use it and i love it! It literally has a luminous effect. But i can't find it in the market anymore. What do you think about Milani powders as well...they're much cheaper and they do the job but it definitely doesn't give me the finish that Iman Earth 1 used to give me😍.
