- Enhancement cores, enhancement prisms, ascendant shards, and ascendant alloys. These are the 4 main materials used for upgrading weapons and armor, and this season brought some major changes to how we get and use these materials. So in this video, I’ll show you all the best ways to get masterwork materials and the most efficient ways to farm for them as a solo player. Also stick around to the end of the video for some ways to earn materials passively as you play the game.

It kinda always was, but Ophidia Spade solar hunter is so good this season!
I had a lot of celestial nighthawk fashion so the buff made me really happy
Peregrine greaves on void. I also like briarbinds and I want to set up consecration pyrogales.

One thing I saw you probably either forgot to mention or at the least didn't know about, but the Blind Well now drops Enhancement Cores upon high tier completions. I did three tier 3 Blind Well runs and got about 15 Cores from it.
Imo, the thing about blind well is its brain numbing to do huhu

Coil it is, I bet grinding the coil with an armor set is even better
Blind well/ gambit surprisingly with core/prism harvest will net you a lot of cores and prisms per ~20-30 minutes
No don’t expect me to play gambit when I can complete a strike in 8 minutes consistently
platinum coil even gives adept nightfall ciphers which is crazy

1:26 I literally start everyday doing this with all the characters. I run through with each character get my 12 then figure out what I'm doing the rest of my play.
check!! I always do this.. first do the Banshee bounties on all 3 character and THEN its time to really begin playing haha
I do this exact thing every day for many years now 🙂 people always ask me how did I get so many stacks of 999 enhancement cores and I tell them exactly what you posted 🙂 its really a no brainier

Enemies keep spawning infinitely so it's done in a couple of minutes 😎
I used to do it on the moon in Altars of Sorrow but there you have to Deal with other guardians who will slow down your Progress when they steal your kills just in front of you 😂
I have also noticed that the blind well is also dropping enhancement cores. 😊
A damn lot of them too
the bilnd well tier III plus heroic tier III gives 6 enhancement cores each round. If you don't make it to the heroic event it will give 3, which is still good. I reccomend you had put that in the video. Otherwise, great video!

For me, alloy is easy to find, i just want ascendant shard, from that i can turn it to enhancement core
Platinum coil at this time is really rewarding and fast
Tier 3 Blind Well drops 3-5cores and only takes about 10 minutes

You do not need a glass collector or even all of the pots for the secret room. I would estimate you need roughly 90-95% of the pots though. Just take your time in the traversal rooms.

also the coil is rediculously difficult , ive only been able to get one run done fully soooo and ive been playing the game for a long time and have multiple 100 stats , wish i was a sweaty player like most people seem t be jeez man

I’m trying to figure out a Titian build for Coil. Match made and LFG.
It’s super easy. Banner of War. That’s all you need throw in a 1,2 punch shotgun if wanna overkill. It may have gotten nerfed but it’s still so easy
Precious Scars (Exotic Helmet) + Banner of War (Strand Aspect) is a nice combo. Or you could rock a solar subclass w/Precious Scars and any weapon with Heal Clip (Weapon Perk). Basically you wanna prioritize constant healing so that you won't get the boot. In my experience people will tolerate someone who knows nothing, as opposed to someone who's dying constantly.

Hunter
Solar Warlock with well of radiance
There is No best class. Just the best builds on each class. Play what you Like
I'd personally vote void Warlock, between the healing rift and devour you can tank your way through most stuff
Hunters are probably the weakest. Warlocks and Titans have better options when it comes to solo endgame content like dungeons.
If you’re willing to do some group content for a raid, then you can start to access free weekly raid loot from hidden raid chests. Warlock (due to well skating) has the easiest time accessing these chests; however, titans can do so as well with the right tech. While possible on Hunters, some of these chests are just MUCH harder to obtain.
When it comes to champions, each class has their own strong points, but Hunters actually do have a lot of built in utility due to strand suspend, solar ignitions, and arc blind being essentially at will for them.
At the end of the day it REALLY doesn’t matter though. I personally main-ed hunter as a solo and had a blast, but that was only because I hated warlock and titan jumps. If you’re not going to have any fun on a certain class then it’s realistically not viable because you just won’t want to play the game.
TLDR:
Warlock > Titan > Hunter

Another great source for getting enhancement cores is by simply doing strikes (vanguard ops as they call it). You can easily get 5 or 6 per run and sometimes an easy dismantable legendary for an extra core.
That's a LEGENDARY shard, not Ascendant Shard. WAY different.

absolutely this. I stopped the video after he said that lol. Makes no damn sense. It's like, sorry the people who buy the seasons and such are the reason you get to play it for free? Besides, isn't even close to ACTUAL pay to win. You aren't getting anything you can't just get in the game by playing it. I guess aside from the seasonal cosmetic? That's it. Everything else can be farmed fairly easily. Harmonizers are the closest thing to "pay to win" and you still get what 1 or 2 for free with the season? All they do is speed up the grind that's it. Not pay to win. Anyway, rant over lol this just annoyed me as well.
