That roof on the shed looks like more patch work. May I recommend you take a second and cut off the branch that is over hanging it, branch can be rough on roofs. That was an interesting pour and glad it worked. The next phase will be interesting. Thank you and have a great week.

Man we’d never get away with just one board on a platform it would have to be 3 boards wide with a hand rail even on a personal job site Health & Safety would crucify us especially at that height 🇬🇧

@@russellmcknight7226 possibly not but Matt seems to take material and product seriously even those braces and icf blocks are all used to manufactures guidance but for some reason work platforms are not even the scaffold boards are just planks and not tested purposes made scaffold boards ? This is no criticism but just my thoughts ?

Yeah the pour is great and as always no blow out because you know what your doing. Looks like you all did did just fine. I think your kicking butt on this. You got it made all the way buddy. Keep your head up and the feet on the ground!!!!! Like the view from the pump truck to see what it looks like doing the pour from up there and still being able to see what the rest are doing as the pour goes on.

Glad to see it all went well! Liked the view from the pump truck as well. Also, towards the end, at 37:10, got to see 5 barges being pushed up the river, with corresponding waves with the wind on the river. Good job all the way around!

one stage closer Matt. if forgetting anchor bolts a piece of rebar being too high are only things that went 'wrong', Id call the pour a win. no major blow outs no Oh sh-t issues, especially that gable end corner.

Concrete poured. No blowouts. Showing a new product to other fellow construction counterparts. And training opportunities for the next generation. Add the amazing river view and perfect weather, can't get any better than that!

Tapcon is a brand name of the blue concrete screws you don't like. The ONE screw is a universal screw that can be used in concrete. Lowe's has longer ones than what you had.

Don’t you need to run any vibration on icf pours specially around your window bucks ? Good video watching it finally getting completed after all the headaches you went through 👍
Tapping on the walls and a drill pad vibrator is all you need. They poured the bottom of the window bucks to really no need to vibrate.

When you installed the wall did you dowel into the Castle wall to insure after you remove the 2 x 4 that the ICF wall will not move
and will stay tied into the Castle wall? I would think you would drill into the Castle wall and install rebar and let it run into the concrete wall.
