What im thinking is that dream actually just wanted peace for this world since tommy keep disturbing everyone and trying to go againts dream. So what dream needed to do is just to take the disc, turns out dream thought he could have fun with tommy, tommy in an interesting character to play with, but the reason dream didint burn the disc and blow up lmanburg. Firstly, dream hated the country. second, dream doesnt want the disc saga is over just like that, he needed fun. i say when dream dies 2 times at his vault, tommyinnit wants to kill him quick so that dream doesnt say anything that make anyone think twice which i say its bad. And actually, i do hate tommyinnit at some times, everyone is too nice for him. When tommy wants sam to build a hotel for him, tommy needs to pay 32 diamonds, and tommy doesnt really pay, he ask philza for the diamonds. And what he just needed to do is just to be nice at a new member of the dream smp which can be easy, just give some iron tools and stuff and be polite just to get the diamonds and i think that what dream thinks is really true.
