Many decades ago, my grandpa was at an Italian restaurant where after ordering he said, “grazie mille.” Don Rickles at the table over then says, “grazie mille. The guy knows two words and thinks he’s fluent!” Whole restaurant laughed and was a great moment.

He rarely raised his voice, over did his body movements and actually didn’t make goofy faces. And yet he could move a crowd to powerful laughter with just a mouth , eye or head movement. I’ve never seen anyone that could do that quite like him.

In the woke times people are weak in thoughts and cant stand up for themselves . Good Comedy is gone until someone get balls enough to Stand up to the Woke crowd and tell it like it is

Jay Leno was no Carson. I rarely watched after Johnny left.

Jay Leno was no Merv Griffin even - he was way out of his league in the talk show business. The only decent thing he ever did on the Tonight Show was his monologue - everything else was utter crap.

Nobody was Carson period. They took a shot on the wrong guy. Should’ve picked Letterman

To me, this was Don Rickles' best Tonight Show spot.

The wit and speed from Rickles is off the charts. This man’s brain was sharp.
