A beautiful Irish draught at 17.3) but my mum let me do it. She’d be next to me since the gelding was a temperamental wee bastard. Loved him to death but he could kick you and bite and headbutt within a second of his signals. You just had to be quick enough to see the signal. But she’d walk side by side as I lead the horses. Sometimes one in each hand when I got a bit older. However. You could not pay me enough to handle shetlands. Those wee buggers are nippy as hell and pack a punch. So putting the young girl in charge of it as it’s evidently a bit hyper, next to the gelding/stallion/mate who is also hyper, in front of a news caster. Just asking for the child to be dragged/reared at/ bucked at/bitten at/shoved. The adult with the G/S/M should have moved further away to allow the mini to settle. But she was confident holding the horse and clearly done it before. But with all the hubbub it probably spooked. No point bubble wrapping children. I was bucked and reared and bitten at and I never for a second think of that as terrifying. It’s a major part of my love for my childhood. And I had a rooster who was way scarier 😂

That and the jumping lizard have been busting my gut with laughter for over 25 years now. When I see that dude react to that lizard jumping on him, the tears of laughter just roll!!! 🤣🤣🤣
