Nahh why did they beat and humiliate those prisoners? They are not evil, they haven't commited any crime, ofcourse they would violent and try to escape. We know mayuri is kinda evil, but Big Mouth seems like a poor chump, like many others. This is one of the evil sides of Gotei 13.

Exactly. I hope even before or if the hell - arc happens ( hopefully decades and decades long ) sins and dirty side of soul society and morally gray slash corrupt under 🔔 belly of gotie . And technically shinigama aren't super good guys it's more of lesser _ greater evil another reason I kubo present 💝 more dirty and deep deep complex moral evils in the hell-arc
