The beautiful thing about using Undying. Assuming you have Marchesa and a sac outlet in play. ON EVERY PLAYER'S TURN: During the 2nd main phase, sac the Undying Creature with no +1/+1 counter. It returns immediately with a +1/+1 counter. Then sac again. During the End Step, it returns via Marchesa with no +1/+1 counter. If you have an ETB effect, you get to trigger twice each turn. If you have a dying effect, you get to trigger twice each turn.
Mikaeus and puppeteer clique with a sac outlet allows you to gain control of all creatures in opponents graveyards. Assuming you can then get +1 counters on all of those creatures and sacrifice them you will get them all back as you can have marchesas trigger take priority over the cliques exile trigger.
I built a demon tribal deck and needed to run prince of thralls so I ended up using her as the commander. The deck is among the slowest I've ever built but once it gets off the ground (around turn 6 or 7 usually, like I said slow...) it becomes the scariest thing at the table in many cases. Sacing 3-4 demons to have them come back and set off warstorm surge at the end of every turn gets ridiculous fast. I almost feel like I'm comboing off without actually having any combos in the deck. I do run liliana heretical healer as a potential alt to marchesa if you can get the emblem. I have always thought she would be fantastic as a wizard commander but I just can't bring myself to pull demons apart and now there is a real wizard commander in the same colors.
I feel like you could probably do an unleash plus control deck with marches and be in a really good place. Protect marchesa and then all of your unleashers are immortal.
I started my build similar to yours but I found it clunky...cost curve is too high. I went for a few smaller utility creatures. Damage: Anathemancer, Murderous Redcap, Porphoros, Warstorm Surge Card Draw: Baleful Strix, Bloodtracker, Geralf's Messenger Graft: Cytoplast Manipulator Counterspell: Goblin Flectomancer, Siren Stormtamer
I like your build, mine is probably close to yours, ordered some cards just yesterday to finally finish it (been playing marchesa since she was out) but i forgot a razaketh, he cost a lot but probably is better than the other tutor demon.
Why is there no Garza Zol, Plague Queen? Flying, Haste, 5/5 , places +1/+1 counters on herself and draws cards. ...my attempts to make her more popular have yet to bear fruit!
Ive seen lot of people putting Razaketh but wonder what works better, him or Rune scarred demon. Rune cost 7 but only tutor once, Raza cost one more but can tutor multiple and sac outlet. Shit i am going to need to get my hands on a razaketh
Pretty much any undying creature (with a sacrifice outlet) that can win you the game via ETB triggers is gonna be good in this. Geralf's Mindcrusher (Mill) and Geralf's Messenger (lose life) Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch is pretty cool bc giving dudes haste is great and shes an infinite sacrifice target as well. Ashnods altar with Torment of Hailfire is great in this deck with all that combo potential
yea or the other one with overload, That one is sweet. I think the deck looks good but need something to deal with artifact and enchantments. I have nicol bolas planeswalker, not much but is something. Also a few counterspells

Spark double is good too. All clones are nice because you can change them to whatever you want them to be

You missed Stalking Vengeance. Absolutely dirty in this. Cannot tell you how many games I have won when I drop that card.

I wish I knew about Herald of Secret Streams sooner..that seems amazing in this. I may have to pick one up for my build.
I like my Marchesa with Modular creatures, clockwork creatures and Slith. Decent goodstuff tech here.
