Hi, I was just offered a 5 x 10 booth in a small mall. My booth neighbor uses those plastic shelves. Do you have any advise on how I can hide those without having to do any construction?
I have seen people attached old doors together and make a room divider, to separate their booth from another’s. Crates would work too with minimal effort, and not permanent, that’s what I would do. Either of these can give you the addition of shelves to display your items as well as divide the space 👍 Hope that helps
Loved this video! Thank you. I have a little wedge of a space in my antique market - more than shelf and less than a booth. This gave me some ideas on how to add in some small furniture and use it as display instead of just shelving.
That depends what the stipulations are at the vendor mall. Most charge 10% of what you sell plus a booth fee. Booth fees are subjective to the location and town. At one place you may pay $40 for a booth and at a different location they might charge $200
Great video with alot of helpful information on how to set-up a booth. I started collecting spoons and plates in the 70's & 80's and that was fun. As I got older my taste turned to vintage items. I got onto TH-cam resellers and learned a lot about different things. It has been exciting to see how some people have live sales and others like yourself have booths in malls. I have become a subscriber to your channel. Looking forward to more of your videos.
I may be opening my own antique mall. What prep work would you recommend? I know I should let each vendor be creative with there booth, but what about the very first vendor? Should I have anything in place for them? What about electricity for each booth - Needed? Thank you.
The malls I have rented from did have electricity for the booths i have rented. One place charges a little more for electric than the booths without. They allow the vendors to decorate or add wall paper or shelving for displays.
I have three booths, and each one is different charges. Depends on the size and location. Where I am booths go for $40-300 I pay $350 for my booths total 👍
Guess who wants to come shop here - that would be me. What city/state is this?

How about hanging curtains?
@@chandaharkins4418 that is a really good idea 👍
A majority of those booths had very few items for sale. I can’t see how they make money.
You would be surprised, this store gets almost cleaned out every week, from sales.
How would you recommend a booth that sells handmade jewelry?
Do you mean how would you display it?
if my booth is too full I can't sell anything . but i have so much stuff I have a hard time getting it empty.
I keep mine packed, but organized and clean.
I think your booth is totally up to you, full or sparse. Keep it the way that gives you the most sales 😁
My booth is 2'x4' 😅

So glad to help! 😁
How much to rent a booth? You pay by square ft or pay a percentage of what you sold?

I HAVE to assume that the rent is REALLY low, bc no way can they profit with such sparce booths.

Depends on where you are at in the store. They go from $75 up to $350
The booth you called mid century only has one shelf in it that is mid century. The rest of the stuff is not.
