How amazingly beautiful is that place! You are blessed to have a wonderful place like that to fish...taking in that hike, that walk, even you are spent and tired i know that you loved every minute of it...
Mountain fishing is simply second to none! Lakes or streams. You get isolation, solitude and epic adventures. Often due to it's remote nature you can find phenomenal fishing! It's my absolute favorite. If you ever want to get into some world class high Mountain PNW trout fishing let me. I'd be honored to take you up 👍
I absolutely love that river!! It never fails to provide at least one good spot and has a ton of Coosa bass. I’ve never fished the Tennessee end of it though. I may have to go for it this year. Thank you again my friend in Christ for your amazing work
Ive been watchin your channel for years John!! And havent really thanked you for all you do!!..well thankyou i sure appreciate all you do for us out here!! And i love how you always end it with a Word of GOD!! HE is going to richly Bless you!! Keep the Faith ...and keep up the good work!! We love you!!
Brother John-I crossed the halfway point in this video, but had to stop just long enough to tell you, that those first two Coosa Bass were EASILY the best-looking Coosa Bass, that I've ever seen ANYBODY catch! Great job! You mentioned about the Water being crystal clear, I think, and suddenly, this popped into my mind: Revelation 22:1-And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the Throne of God, and of the Lamb. I can't WAIT to go home, to be with the Lord! So much has happened on this Earth, just since I've been born, which was on September 6th, 1962. So much evil has come about...things that you and I never even thought of! Look at our Schools: They're the perfect breeding ground for all kinds of Satanic things! Things Worldwide aren't really much better. But God's got himself a people, that have washed their robes in the Blood of the Lamb, and that are ready to go home, to be with Jesus. Glad to be one of them! I love this particular video that you've done, in the fact of what I see from above (The Aerial Footage), and the music that you put into this video. Thank you so much for everything that you do, and most of all, standing up for Jesus Christ! You've probably led more people to Christ than you'll ever know. Keep the Faith, and God bless you and yours!✝️✝️✝️
So I tried my bag. Well some of it. I started out power fishing cus it's my strength. I didn't like the rattling rouge that much it was hard to cast but had ok action. Wish it ran a little deeper .The speed n was really impressive. The war eagle was of course good. Neither caught fish but it's ice out here there not wacotve and very few fish in the system yet. Nest time I'll try the other baits.
I sure didn't want this video to end, love the drone footage so beautiful how God craved that stream through the mountains, the sounds of the creek is very relaxing, was wondering if you liked the yum dinger hellagramite, that bait bag is well worth it for so many lures, I'm going fishing tomorrow after work, it's going to the warmest day of week looks like some bad weather is coming in hope it doesn't kill all of the new growth! Keep up the great work!👍🎣
I love how you incorporated the drone footage! It really shows how the currents carve out the riverbed. Love the music too! Thanks for taking us along! Beautiful trip! We will be in Gatlinburg this coming week. My daughter has ancestors that have deep roots in the Appalachians so she wants to experience the feel. She even asked if I’d want to fish with her there! First time we will have fished since she was about 3! Can’t wait! Video in the making? 🤔😎👍
The river today was so beautiful ! The drone footage along with the music was captivating. I know you'll go back there later in the year. The catch was just a bonus. Thanks for the ride a long ! Always be safe. Randy B.
John, I must say that you are lucky to fish such pristine waters. It’s a beautiful part of the country. The bass in those mountain rivers and creeks are so pretty. So healthy. Love the guitar soundtracks and great footage. Keep the vids coming. Thanks and god bless.
I bought that kit and used the Dalton code! Caught one 14 inch largemouth on the "haze" yumdinger plastic worm. I like the package and plan to use many of the lures later in spring.
I love seeing the aerial footage of the surrounding landscape, thnx so much for incorporating them into your videos. Absolutely stunning footage in this one. As I mentioned before, your videos remind me of my childhood & I enjoy them immensely, thnx for sharing!!!
John your content just progress to a higher level each vlog you produce. The video and drone work are drawing closer and closer to perfection. I truly admire your commitment to providing high quality creek fishing information combined with awesome video content. Well done! 🏆
Great video, dude!! Beautiful river, beautiful scenery, and great editing!! Good fishing, too!! You know you have Mountain Dew and Doritos in that backpack, John!! 🤣🤣
More than grateful for this being my home river from here in the mountain stretch to the lower warm water wide section! PB for all bass species and others all from this river! Has a special place in my heart! Great content John keep it up!
I got almost the same exact spinnerbait, grabbed it online thanks to a recommendation from Frank Scalish last year. I've built a couple of my own since then. Supposed to be good for cold water, since you can slow roll it.
Man, thanks for the tour, John! That place was on my bucket list to get to, but it didn't work out when I was down there...But its just as good watching you out there! THANK YOU!! :-)
Fantastic videos. They never disappoint. Perfect vicarious pleasure for those of us who can’t go out and explore personally for health reasons. Question: at some point in the near future, could you specify what differentiates one species of bass from another (different fin locations, coloring, body shape, etc), as if explaining it to a newbie? Thanks so much and stay safe out there!
Dude, your vids are getting better and better. Really like the drone work, gives us a great lay of the land! God certainly has blessed you! Keep it up. If you are ever up in maine.....hahaha
Great video as always John! Looks like you put the lures in the Bank & Creek kit to work for sure but I am sure it won't be long before the bass get more active! That is an absolutely beautiful place to fish from the looks of it.
The scenery was probably more beautiful than the fishing but I call those recon missions. You learn a few things maybe you didn't already and store it in the memory bank. Blessings brother John
What a great video. The scenery was awesome and the fish you caught work. Just right. Can't wait for a weather up here in Ohio to settle down so we can get out more Often.
This winter has been really weird. Last month was really warm, rainy and windy. So far March has been really cold and windy, too windy. I miss fishing my local creek and river.
Hell ag ra mite all day in that spot. You introduced me to that lure and for that I thank you. I live in southwest Florida and have done quite well with those lures. Great video. You're awsome!
Can you show the basic worm and helgrammite riggings you use, and what size the jig and bullet heads are, the hook size, wide shank/regular shank in a video, please? Thx.
I can't seem to get any bass to bite this March, caught 1 in January , and almost 10 in February. This weather is making the fish weird where I'm at, keep up the good fishing!!
I notice that you are using the Daiwa Tatula 2500, awesome reel. If you like Daiwa products, I recommend trying the Procyon AL ( amazing reel) at the same price point as the Tatula. Love your videos, God bless you brother.
I’m a Trout guy but like your videos as they remind me of the types of fishing I did when I was younger. Any Trout in the little creek at the end? Looks like some good spots to cast a dry fly there!
I usually watch your videos for the fishing but I must admit I watched this one for the scenery. What an absolutely beautiful river!!!!!

Those koosa bass are awesome looking. Like a cross between largemouth and smallmouth
Brother John-I crossed the halfway point in this video, but had to stop just long enough to tell you, that those first two Coosa Bass were EASILY the best-looking Coosa Bass, that I've ever seen ANYBODY catch! Great job!

I bought that kit and used the Dalton code! Caught one 14 inch largemouth on the "haze" yumdinger plastic worm. I like the package and plan to use many of the lures later in spring.
Good choice!

What a great video. The scenery was awesome and the fish you caught work. Just right. Can't wait for a weather up here in Ohio to settle down so we can get out more Often.
This winter has been really weird. Last month was really warm, rainy and windy. So far March has been really cold and windy, too windy. I miss fishing my local creek and river.
beautiful scenery!
Usually in clear water I use willow blades because they don’t thump as hard and use Colorado blades in stained water, might try to swap if blades out
Tomorrow is going to be beautiful it's gonna be in the 60's here in southwest Virginia
you should bring a chain saw or at least a sawzall with a big blade - good to see you exploring
I love watching your videos man!!!
Enjoyed the video as always
Great footage !!
YUUHHH, great as always john
I know EXACTLY where you are! Love the vids!
such a nice area
Bro you gotta start doing some trout fishing ! You would love it !
Thx.
It sure is beautiful.
Very Kool cusa bass nice area. Thanks
I have a river back home in AR. That is back wood river.
Amazing stuff 🔥
I can't seem to get any bass to bite this March, caught 1 in January , and almost 10 in February. This weather is making the fish weird where I'm at, keep up the good fishing!!
yeah they have been weird for sure
I notice that you are using the Daiwa Tatula 2500, awesome reel. If you like Daiwa products, I recommend trying the Procyon AL ( amazing reel) at the same price point as the Tatula. Love your videos, God bless you brother.
The music on this video reminds of John Rebourn an English guitarist.
I’m a Trout guy but like your videos as they remind me of the types of fishing I did when I was younger.
Any Trout in the little creek at the end?
Looks like some good spots to cast a dry fly there!
there can be sometimes
Favorite video yet….
Beautiful river, I am also a Cleveland tn native. Where is this at? Ive never seen it before
Seeing that river I figured it had trout and or smallmouth
SWEET!
The video content is amazing.
This time of year in more northern / mountainous types of streams a jig or jigging a medium size crawdad would work little better for the bass .
