Maybe when he pulled over and was walking across to the other side of the car to throw you out you should’ve locked the door and taken off in the car and left him, like he was gonna let you. That would’ve taught him a lesson
What a powerful and inspiring journey! Maria’s transformation from betrayal to resilience showcases the incredible strength of the human spirit. Phoenix House is a beautiful symbol of hope and new beginnings
I've watched three of these in a row and all three stories ends in turning their home into a safe haven. They're always 'stronger than they know'. They're good stories for the most part. A couple of them made me laugh. One made me cry a little. But when there's one where the wife has been abused, she always starts a safe Haven.
I'm so sorry to hear about what you've been through. No one deserves to be treated this way, especially by someone who is supposed to be a partner and support you. It’s important to prioritize your safety and well-being in situations like this. If you feel comfortable, please reach out to trusted friends, family, or professional resources for support. You deserve respect and understanding, and I hope you find the strength to move forward in a way that brings you peace
2:00 The car screeched to a halt. The furious husband opened the passenger side door and told OP to get out. OP's hand sneaked to the ignition key and took it. As she got out, she glared at him and walked away, tossing the key into the winderness when she wasn't in the car's headlights! If OP is as good looking and smart as the woman in the picture, then the husband is an absolute fool. Additionally, why would a wife deny her husband the benefits she got from the house? Selling the house = investments yielding interest/ dividend, renting it = addl income.

Good thinking Helen, these videos are lessons
Interesting that the sun is rising over the Pacific ocean, in the west!

A lesson, have a pocket in your clothes with a charged phone inside. Plus anything you need. Always be prepared, like the mother warned.
0.12 cool story and brilliant ending.
I would have changed the locks quickly. How coukd she make a simple dinner? Where did she find blankets?
She needs to change the locks.
I would have ordered some bedding, just a mattress topper is enough to sleep on, ikea has them.
Watching from NZ. Under our broken woke justice system he would have got home detention and name suppression.
0.12 agree totally with you. Kiwi
