Deadly Arts N64 high damage combo video

Compilation of high damage combos in the game Deadly Arts made by Konami for the N64. The game was also known as G.A.S.P Fighter Nextreme in some regions.
Most of the 100% corner combos require a very specific positioning to start, so would be hard to get in a regular match.
All combos recorded and perfomed by Griffybones using an arcade stick playing the game on PC using Mupen64++ emulator

I see that you're played both the NTSC and PAL versions.
Were there any mechanical differences between the ports?

Not really any gameplay differences between Deadly Arts and G.A.S.P from what I have played. Mostly seems like the names were swapped on the boxes and in the menu's to suit regional markets in the 90's.

When I was testing my N64 roms, I only noticed visual changes like aspect ratio, custom name fonts on the HUD, and Killer Kongoh censorship.
I love this odd little game and I've been sparingly doing my own research, but I haven't found much:
Same move penalty.
Blcokstun is fake.
Most moves are guard-cancellable before first active frame.
Currently, I've been trying to find out if the enemy is actionable during throw startup.

I always had a soft spot for this game, was just listening to the OST today. I wanted to practice it, and a while back I felt like I could cancel attack startup animations with the block button then go into a different attack that wouldn't be possible normally. Is that true or am I crazy lol

I bought this game. Realized it was trash. Managed to trade it for LoZ MM at a used game store.

This game has outstanding graphics for the time.....but the animation interpolation is SO JANKY it totally ruins the game.......its a real shame, this couldve been another little gem like Fighters Destiny
