@@alexanderthegreat-mx5zu PT controls more like Sonic or Metroid. A lot of the time in PT, you don't really need to make precise jumps onto platforms because of the wall run, so a lot more of the momentum carrying in PT comes from when you turn and when you duck/jump, which is very Sonic. When you know how to go fast in Antonblast, it controls more like Crash or Donkey Kong Country (both SNES and reboot DKC). Keeping momentum with Anton comes from controlling the chaos, landing jumps on platforms and knowing when to get another clutch boost. You can go insanely fast, but it's more like controlling where you land your jumps, rather than PT having sonic-style reflex tests. Anton feels like how DKCTF does when you're speedrunning the levels with Cranky Kong. The clutch is kinda treated like the DKC roll and both of them have a focus on the pogo move. Every level with the gum in it plays a lot like a retro studios DKC level, one of them just straight up has the jam from DKCTF 5-B. Peppino's moveset and level design is a lot more vertical and AntonBlast is much more horizontal. Unlike both of them, Wario Land isn't a very fast momentum based series, aside from 4 and Shake-it, and WL4 was made on the Metroid Fusion engine and uses those rules. When you're going slow, AntonBlast controls more like Warioland. PT has WL elements, but his throw is more for your combos than WL using throwing enemies for puzzles. When you're going fast, PT feels more Wario Land 4 since it operates closer to Metroid's rules for going fast.

@@poppyfrancis7338 I know that,i wanted to point out how stupid it is to say that antonblast was inspired by pizza tower when all of the similarities begin and end with wario land 4.
One thing I'll say about Antonblast and the later Wario Lands is that they are MUCH slower than Pizza tower, the option to blast through is there but not necessary, and not always the best option.
The later wario lands? All of these games are inspired by wario land 4 and the last one in the series is wario land 5 which has the same mechanics as 4,also,you can say that about pizza tower too,Antonblast allows you to move through the level fast even if it's your first time playing, the fact that it requires you to be more careful with your speed or do some platforming in some segments doesn't make it any less," speedy".
@@alexanderthegreat-mx5zu A game called Wario Land 5 doesn't exist. @@CassiusStelar But Wario world is not a Wario land game, the last game with the word land in it is shake it and the speed of shake it really isn't that much different from 4,as i said before, the mechanics are the same with you having to go to the exit of the level when you finish it.
To answer Scott's question from the start if he never got one, the only major difference that isn't cutscene dialogue is that some spray paints have different names between Anton and Annie because they affect their palettes differently, I believe. Some might have different names but wind up having the same effect on the palettes they give them anyways
I'm going to be honest, I play as Annie, because the dialogue you get with her is funnier. Especially when you run into Satan. Consider it, before taking on the first boss, Scott.
Dude you're telling me, I was hype for this game since its announcement because it sticks more to the Wario Land formula than Pizza Tower but I love Crash so much and this game perfectly scratches that itch, with its irreverent characters and level design that absolutely takes notes from Crash with it using its boxes, crates and destructible walls in ways Crash would to hide secrets from players who don't care to notice how they're being lead towards areas because its so easy to get lost in the chaos
