Because you started too late. After 2 years of daily practice I can barely play 5 songs by ear.
This girl should train out her skills with metronome, cause she's just trying to play the hardest parts of this and any piece as fast as she can, and her amazing skills allows that, but rhythm is so broken that it just sounds poor, playing such a difficult pieces without any rhythm is just wasting of her impressive skills

Part rests make this number fluctuate, big whoop, and it doesn't deviate by more than 1 bpm over any given section, with the 16th note section being the only place where she speeds up, and only does so by 3 bpm. If you think that warrants calling her playing poor, I don't know what to tell you. I don't personally believe in the, "well I'd like to see you do it better" concept, but it is funny that the one piano video you've uploaded is just an entry level song designed with a fluctuating tempo so the player doesn't have to worry about timing.

..the rhythm is pretty good, what are you saying ? Her left hand is solid and the right one respects it for the majority of the song.
