I love your glasses. They look good on you. Glad you finally got some sleep , you so needed it. I'm enjoying your daily vlogs. I love seeing all the nature in your videos. :)
You brought me back to the many times that I've driven around exploring in the mountains with my dog. I'd get out with him to check something out and frustrate him I'm sure by getting back in to move on too soon. Treasure these days with your dog as they come to an end much too quickly. Glad to see this was a much better day for you.
I enjoyed your long vlog....fun stuff and great when I can’t sleep (gracefully aging deal...lol) I enjoyed seeing your drawings. You are quite good. I draw and paint (mostly watercolor) I like to mix pen and ink drawings with watercolor. I do the same as you. I create things and give them to people; many times on a hand painted card that is specific for that person. They love them because like you said, they can see that you care because of the time, creativity and thought and love that you took to do it just for them. I also crochet blankets for people going through a hard time. Kind of a hug from me every time they wrap up in it...That’s the kind of gifts I love too. I was an art major and got a scholarship to go to college (many years ago 1981..😬😬)...but ended up becoming a surgical nurse after my husband died when my kids were small...better insurance. Now I am medically retired and getting back into more time for artwork and actually spending much time teaching my 4 year old granddaughter how to paint...she is actually very good for so young and it is special to spend the time with her. You are a sweet friend to spend the time drawing and writing words of encouragement for your friend...well, I’d better wrap this comment up...it has gotten as long as your blog today...😂😂😂 Can’t wait to see your chalk art....hope you went easy on the kids...lol
I am really enjoying your daily vlogs! Due to a life altering accident many years ago, I’m not able to hike and camp like I used to. (I’ll send you a private message someday.) I must say that I enjoy chilling to your videos - such beautiful hikes you take us on! I’m living vicariously through you! 😊
Loved the video Tammy. It wasn’t long enough. Lol. I always enjoy visiting with you at Spirit Forest 🌳 🌳🌳 This videos went soooooo fast, it felt like only minutes. I’m looking forward to seeing you tomorrow. 😃
You are an inspiration to me..You lead such a full and interesting life. Thankyou for sharing your awesome adventures and and your life circumstances..God bless you and your family !
Love your videos !! Burning pine or like trees will clog up the pipes, Hardwood is the best but in your case not having a lot of hardwood to burn, I would clean at least once per season!! Hoping your health problem gets solves and gets you back to normal !! Beautiful lady you are !!
Enjoyed this vlog/video very much ,, good to see you feeling a little better ,, fun to find and explore new trails ,, the Elk attack was pretty memorable,, wonder what the Elk thought ,, seeing a creature with green eyes and a guarding sidekick ,, ,, as you have found here some amazing houses (not really homes, because it seems that nobody is ever there),, you're right,it's just because they can...(makes me jealous/envious)...awesome area you picked out to explore ,, and good to see Rocky more himself ,, appeared to respond to your voice much better...you're such a good Momma....I agree, good meat should not be pan fried but it did look pretty awesome...Great attention to the stove issues, plugged up screen on flu pipe was certainly good call...Your mountain home is so 'Girly' ,, love seeing Kaila's flowers & vase for you ,, all of you are so creative and talented...I hope to meet you someday ,, maybe at W.O.W.'s if you're not full or at Como event...I am planning to come around during that week & visit family and friends and maybe a day hike with fishing...Have fun at the art event,I know you will...til tomorrow......
This was fun, pure unadulterated fun. Sunglasses are required, especially living in Colorado. I checked out the trail and it is a bike loop for sure. Hope you have a few more days at home at SF. Enjoyed today a lot. Peace.
Hallo Tammy, die Gleitsichtgläser sind eine tolle Erfindung, wenn Du Dich dran gewöhnt hast, willst Du nicht mehr ohne! Die Brille steht Dir übrigens sehr gut 👍 LG Olaf
i really enjoyed the hike and the elk was awesome..steak looks awesome,,eat it up girl...and get better...i forgot to tell you that i love your art work...so cute..
Love this video Tammy! You are strong to be hiking today. Gorgeous views and great music. People with so much disposable income want privacy and they get only 4 months of it. Fly in and out with copter . . Once chased elk thru woods at twilight in Montana for photo. . I am photog. Was stupid thing to do!!! But I survived. Take care of yourself. Iron supplements or beef.😊💜💚🧡💙💛
Love your glasses Tammy, they look great! As you can see I wear them too and yes they are progressives. You'll get use to them. You make me wish I lived in Colorado. I would love to hike with you! I really enjoy your daily vlogs.
I got my first pair of glasses in 7th grade. Bifocals in high school. I am 46 now and pretty sure just popping the bottom of 2 soda bottles would be just about right thickness if they were still glass! Thank goodness for modern composite lens and Flexon frames! My nose and ears used to hurt horribly! Good luck with the new look.
2nd comment Tammy, it's nice to see you laughing, to see you well, you're like always. Are you really well after what you experienced yesterday? This video was your best ever. By the way, with the glasses you look like the very strict teacher. Kidding. With the glasses you look really good. Greetings from Germany Tom
I LOVE your glasses! I was honored to receive my first pair of progressive lens at 40. Now I can't live without them. These computers are ruining our eyes!
Draw a cutthroat leaping out of the stream to catch a bug, with the mountain in the background. Don't forget to put a elk in the meadow below the mountain. You are so talented on drawing.I could not even do that. Love and hugs, and dreams of cookie land.Boomer.xoxoxo
Great video, probably my favourite..i was having a bad night thinking about someone who had done me wrong and i started watching your video and wow my problems disappeared ..some things i could relate to -like the charging elk -it happened to me once :-),and such beautiful scenery--rocky looks better (hope he is!)and his hearing seems to better.............well anyway thanks for sharing:-)
On the chimney issue.. you burn a lot of pine wood and the sap in the wood causes that buildup. Next to where you bought the Duraflame logs there will be a chimney cleaning log.. they really work well. Again, you should try one. Love the new glasses, they look really nice. Hope things go well with your health issues.. God's continued blessings and healing grace.
Nice glasses! Progressive lenses is what you were looking for. I've been wearing progressives for 15 yrs or so and glasses for almost 56 yrs, since I was 13 yrs old!
Tammey if you have a costco in your area and you are a member then go to their meat section and if they have the short ribs and they are boneless pick up a package of them. they normaly come in a 6 pack i normaly freeze the ones i don't eat right away using my food saver. i have to say that theses steaks are way better tasting than the aged steaks i used to buy from Whole Foods. also their Roast Chickens are the Bomb. watching you cook that steak made me go thaw out a short rib steak for dinner. thanks for another enjoyable video. take care.
Really like your glasses. Not only do you look younger but very professional. Cookies looked pretty good. The end of summer is nearing and so far I have not seen any "SMORES". Good thing you cleaned the clogged stovepipe other wise you might have had an issue with carbon dioxide in addition to the smoke in your tent. I only need reading glasses and fortunately I can get them at Barnes and Noble, Walgreens, Walmart, etc. for as low as $6.95 and up. Good luck with your classes.
beautiful glasses for a beautiful morningwakeupface... i have these problems also since 6 years.... the first walk in the woods i was tumbling like a drunken eagle.. 😂😂😂... go your way!!! enjoy!!!
Tammy, thanks for sharing and bringing us along , your glasses look great. Good to see you smiling again 😊 Cleaning the pipe made all the difference. Your tent is so peaceful and cozy looking, the night lights give a really nice glow . The art is a very nice touch to your letters. I enjoyed the visit. Atvb 👍
Progressive lenses. On very warm days, I suggest you wear an open top visor. It allows your head to cool and still blocks the sun from your eyes. Ever notice the coolness, when hiking and you take your hat off and wipe your brow. Wearing a full hat or knit cap in the cold keeps your head warm; wearing a visor allows your head to stay cooler in the heat. 🦀
Glad your feeling better. I tried the progressive lens once. Too much distortion. You look good in glasses. At lease twice a year clean your chimney so it will draft. Have a super wonderful day.
Luv ur glasses...U look good in them......I too have very sensitive eyes.....Always wear sunglasses outside and even when I worked in an office, I had to wear a baseball hat to shield my eyes from the overhead lighting. Looks like Rocky is doing better!
🇬🇧 Thanks for having us. 😃😃😃😃 You need to take vit c with iron to help it work properly. Lot of berries or dark green veg. A vit supplement would be easier.
Your glasses suit you perfectly! I’ve had progressive lenses for years and love them. I used to live in Estes Park so seeing elk was literally a daily occurrence. Moved from there last fall and miss the mountains so much!!
The glasses are awesome! My last pair had the magnetic sunglasses like that. You should do a calendar with your drawings. I'm sure that you could get that together by January... As always, it was great to have hung out with you today. When are we going to see you chop some wood? 🤣 Looking forward to the next episode.
Awesome.. I told ya you were gonna live!!! RIGHT ON ! Sweet!! Bi focals ... Yea glasses for reading are well good!! i was wondering why i was having such a hard time reading untill i put on glasses and OMG i could read and see the page .. Rule number one.. have a first aid kit .. An IFAk.. (Individual first aid kit) a military style IFAK they are expensive but you can do a lot with it.. also have the additional necessities for your personal situation. that way you can drag your self out in an medical emergency. Really cool you are exercising trough your problem.. Awesome very inspiring ... never quit .. J
🇬🇧 Bifocals have a line that differentiates between close and far but if the vision alters gradually they are called varifocals in UK. Bifocals are available too.
Varifocals are generally called "progressive lenses" in the US, probably because the (first?) big brand here was Varilux(r) which were trademarked as a "brand of progressive lenses", IIRC. It was years until other lens companies came into that US market.
A store bought IFAK usually is 2x the price of putting together your own using prime goods. A military IFAK with chest seals is still a one person, one incident kit. Not much harder or expensive to pack a full light trauma kit, especially for a camp where you may need multiple aids.
I'm glad you're doing better. No surgery is fun and all come with a small chance of something going wrong. Self advocate, check the the reviews on a surgeon , ask your friends if they have used any really good Dr. & check if he is certified. The more you know the more confident you'll feel and less afraid. On a different topic: you are a talented artist! Do you have a back ground in Art? I'd love to see more of your art! Have a great weekend>
Transition lenses if they have regular to reading focus, and progressive lenses if they go from regular to medium to reading (like trifocals). Took me a little while to get used to them too, like you're walking down stairs or something.
Oh and they sell those logs at Walmart that say they clean the chimney I used them a few times I have no idea if it actually works I still had to clean the chimney but I'm a little over cautious but that's just me lol
lunch time watching. We wear sunglasses when we are outside. People will have to deal. Not trying to hide anything, just need to protect our eyes. Watching the rest now. ;-)
Burning alum. cans( 2 at a time).. ( a fireman told me that)) will help with the creosote. We don't burn any type of pine ever, and only season wood. The leak in pipe is easy fix. We only have wood heat, and we do have a professional chimney sweeper come in every other year.
1st comment Tammy, Your lenses are called bifocal, I've been wearing them for over twenty years. Please be careful at the beginning when driving and when you go down stairs. It can also make you dizzy when walking. It can take up to 6 weeks to get used to it. One more tip, there are also self-tinting glasses that react to the light, that would be interesting for you, because you have sensitive eyes.
I liked the video , you definetly need some rest.... I like your glasses they suit you.since I love mountain I would love you to draw a mountain scenery, with the river or lake and the trout jumping... Sorry just imagining.... Enjoy
They are called 'bifocals'. We all discover, at somre point (mine was at 40), that we need em'. But I can't wear bifocals because it feels like I'm stepping in a hole when I walk! So I have one pair for watching tv or driving and another for reading! But you look great! Those glasses fit your face perfectly! Good choice.
Would you consider that mountain area with the snow an 'alpine' area? Looks like top of the world. You must really be accustomed to the altitude...I would be short of breath and sick. I'm a sea level kinda gal. Wow, gorgeous country.
Glasses with the line are bifocals i wear them as well and they bug me too. Sometimes i take them off to see lol be careful with that soot and creasote build up mike said what ya have to do dont want ya to burn your tent down. Stay safe
Takes a few days to get use to the new glasses they look nice on you it feels good to be able to see I have the same type were did you get the magnetic sun lenses oh yes you have to matain your stove pipe down what a pipe fire a stiff pipe cleaner brush is better you have to get aggressive sometimes with it
The bi-focals suit you! I like your style. I didn't know they had magnetic.- shades, learned something new. I love walking with you & enjoy the scenery around you. Snow still on your ground in areas in the middle of July? Is that actually normal for your area this time of year? I'm not so sure any of our weather in the states has been normal actually. It seems we go from one extreme to the next. You are 10,000' above sea level - l do know our highest elevation in Virginia is Mount Rogers @ 5,729' & I see it from my kitchen window, & enjoyed many sunsets over that mountain. I am not sure how high above sea level I am currently. I know some wealthier people whom have done well financially more in likely buy these properties out in the secluded areas as an investment to sell later down the road when they retire. (maybe) They are gorgeous! You are so talented! Your friend will enjoy your drawings & notes. Home made is always better than store bought. xoxoxoxoxo
Need to burn a good hot fire periodically.....here in Kansas I burn some hedge pretty often...it seems to keep creosote to a minimum....I know aspen and others are soft cool fuels but you can get it hotter once in a while which will keep pipe cleaner....just a thought !!
Loving the daily vlogs! Awesome job and thanks for taking us along!💜🌲🌲🌲
Your drawings are awesome! I’m sure your friend will greatly appreciate the drawings and letters. Thanks for sharing.
Just chillin with my dog watching your video tonight. Thanks for sharing your day :)

OMG that steak is huge I couldn't even eat all that love it!
Love the glasses Tammy, in the UK we call them varifocals and I've had a few pairs over the years. Look after yourself.
Glad you are feeling better and your glasses look really nice on you
Your glasses suit you perfectly! I’ve had progressive lenses for years and love them. I used to live in Estes Park so seeing elk was literally a daily occurrence. Moved from there last fall and miss the mountains so much!!
Try one of the small table top grills - they are also powered by the propane cannisters. Pretty inexpensive too.
You are good at this daily vlog thing, just saying. 👌🏼😎
You make the glasses look lovely
I love your glasses.
You need to get a chimney sweeper and good to see you upbeat and in good spirit .
I pray for you
Progressive lenses?!it happened to me when I got mine the first time, yeah, you’ll get used to them, promise! 👌🏽👍🏼 happy outdoors yo!!!
Your glasses are cool!
The glasses are awesome! My last pair had the magnetic sunglasses like that. You should do a calendar with your drawings. I'm sure that you could get that together by January... As always, it was great to have hung out with you today. When are we going to see you chop some wood? 🤣 Looking forward to the next episode.

@@lyfandeth yep..
I'm glad you're doing better. No surgery is fun and all come with a small chance of something going wrong. The more you know the more confident you'll feel and less afraid. On a different topic: you are a talented artist! Do you have a back ground in Art? I'd love to see more of your art! aww your glasses are cute.
Ya, I’m working in Seattle right now ,sea level. Ya , cast iron skillet with little rivets on them, work even better than a regular skillet .😃
Transition lenses if they have regular to reading focus, and progressive lenses if they go from regular to medium to reading (like trifocals). Took me a little while to get used to them too, like you're walking down stairs or something.
Bifocals Tammy and they look great on you. I must say you look better today. Hopefully you feel better. God Bless you and your family love y'all

Ha, welcome to the club, never had glasses till the day I turned 45 then bam bifocals
Your very good at drawing
Bifocals.....love yur vids....stay safe !!
Burning alum. cans( 2 at a time).. ( a fireman told me that)) will help with the creosote. We don't burn any type of pine ever, and only season wood. The leak in pipe is easy fix. We only have wood heat, and we do have a professional chimney sweeper come in every other year.

Tammy,
Your lenses are called bifocal, I've been wearing them for over twenty years.
Enjoy

So I have one pair for watching tv or driving and another for reading! But you look great! Those glasses fit your face perfectly! Good choice.
Harvey have you tried varifocals. Much safer than bifocals. 🇬🇧
Would you consider that mountain area with the snow an 'alpine' area? Looks like top of the world. You must really be accustomed to the altitude...I would be short of breath and sick. I'm a sea level kinda gal. Wow, gorgeous country.

Maybe you were the only one on the trail because of the crazy elk! Lol
😁expensive lodge probably has a snow cat in the garage and snowmobiles for hunting rental 😁nice walk no bug bogs 😁
You look good with your glasses i like cookies crunchie dip cookies in coffee great leavick mill ghost town and Horseshoe gulch fun area
Home made is always better than store bought. xoxoxoxoxo
hi I love your vidios thair so cool love ya
I am so happy to see you look happy, healthy, and on the mend...Now, hold everything! How do I get that shirt? I love it!
Need to burn a good hot fire periodically.....here in Kansas I burn some hedge pretty often...it seems to keep creosote to a minimum....I know aspen and others are soft cool fuels but you can get it hotter once in a while which will keep pipe cleaner....just a thought !!
