    Thanks for speed/bevel tip. Sometimes when I resume I have to turn off THC because it's not getting started correctly because I'm starting where it's already cut.

      Change the travel distance to ignore at startup to a larger # and it will ignore that distance before it calculates it height. So the default is 1/4" I set mine to 1/2"

    Did you make or buy a different torch attachment than what comes with the Crossfire Pro?

      I made my own and sell the build prints. I just got a CNC so I'll be offering the parts in the next couple months. becksarmory.com/products/machine-torch-mount-build-plans/

    What is the feed rate you are using? I haven’t tried cutting anything this thick yet but it is up next so any pointers are great. Thank you for making this video!

      it was 65 amps, 65 psi, 1.2mm nozzle, and between 20 and 40 ipm. I don't remember the exact ipm and I'm not at my PC right now.

    I have my air compressor and my plasma cutter on their own separate breaker would that eliminate this problem? I've not cut anything that thick yet

    • @BecksArmory
      @BecksArmory  ปีที่แล้ว

      possibly. This tripped my shop main breaker. The people before me only sent 50amps to the shop from the house. Even if they are split at the shop the breaker in the house that feeds the shop blew.

    Thank you very much for the info on restarting the line. I did not know how to do that. I have had my breaker pop a few times with longer cuts on 3/8 and ended up with a bit of a mess trying to resume cutting the part. Are you running smart voltage or nominal voltage on your THC? I have the 82i on an XR table.

    • @BecksArmory
      @BecksArmory  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I run the smart voltage. it just easier and very effective.

      @Captainfab406 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @BecksArmory I have been running smart voltage on everything but 14ga. It doesn't like 14ga and I have to run nominal voltage for the torch to maintain even close to correct cut height.
