BUT if it helps mitigate extreme temperatures when out in the wilderness- could it be the new meta chest mod?

Specifically, Sami stated that if you are trying to TRANSFER from an existing server to Way of Winter AND you have been on that server for less than 24 hours, the transfer will be free. If you've been on more than 24 hours, you have to pay 1 mitsuko mark for an exit card. This necessarily means that you can be on a server for less than 24 hours and still exit. So I'm joining another server today to get more starchrom before Thursday!

Not clear at all. Note that according to Sami in the latest 1.3 devstrem video, you CANNOT transfer from a Novice server to Way of Winter. He stated it was because Way of Winter is more challenging and they see Novice as a kind of "tutorial scenario" (his words). This suggests to me that new players will be required to go Novice first, but as I say, it's not clear.

A "post-apocalyptic"/lovecraftian inspired over the shoulder open world survival game. Made by chinese company Starry (published by NetEase), there's influences from many different games evident in how it feels and plays. With beautiful monster design, base building and mostly able to be done solo. The studio have made it clear that they will not and do not want P2W on the store. There are ridiculously priced loot crates for cosmetics which casts a bit of a black mark on the game for a lot of people, but it is what it is!

I love people like you....complaining for the sake of complaining. Game was free, they need to ensure cash flow keeps coming in so they can maintain the servers which isnt free, and the staff which are working on the game. Lags are server based, probably in a contract with the hosting company (prob went with cheapest one due to it being a free game and had no sales income at time of launch) Optimization requires a lot of work as thats part of the game code that needs to be adjusted. You act like the game is unplayable. I have like 400 hours in the game. Loot boxes are annoying, but, nothing is pay 2 win. So, you can ignore them. How dare a company give a fairly decent game for free and ask that people look at their non p2w monetization....They made a game better than some AAA and paid games. is it perfect? hell no. Is it fun? FK yea. Does it have more work needing put in? Yup!

No the drones (at least for now) are Prismverse only. There's no warband option on the preview server

I'm using the new elemental weapon + bingo bullseye. Usual builds are viable
This server will emphasize elemental/status builds over bullet effects, so yes, elemental are not only still viable, but more useful here.

Nope. According to Sami in the latest 1.3 devstream video, there are no difficulty levels for Way of Winter, they are all Normal.

The cradle override on the preview server doesn't look scenario specific, it's the same as what you'd get on a Manibus (normal) server

No, this is a "new map". It's vast, it's pretty and you won't miss Blackfell

No flamethrower BP, me no play. They need to add more guns, not just a sword, melee nobody makes builds on because it sucks and is clunky.
There's a new Burn shotgun, Shrapnel MG4 and the M416 (3 variations) coming. I was surprised by the lack of flamethrower, however it might yet appear
