    • @RCJuice

Hard to say as we are not familiar with ebike controllers, but on most RC ESC's you can simply just not connect the sensor wires and the motor will stull run just fine. The controller may require a sensor connection, but it's worth trying just connecting the 3 main wires.

Hey Simon, the throttle channel on some radios is "backward" from other radios. We often get e-mails from a customer with this issue, they note that their care goes much quicker in reverse than forwards. The solution is to do exactly as you did, or to reverse the throttle channel on your radio and re-calibrate.

I have this bldc fan motor that has ( white, blue, yellow, red) from left to right. What are these wires and if I can hook up couple of them to a souce of DC to test it to see if this thing is any good which two wires should I hook my power to?
I am assuming the other two wires, one maybe tachometer and the other probably pulse modulation.
Should I be able to read some resistance between whatever wires or how does that work? Or should there be resistance between the two wires that go to power source.
I hooked up the white and the blue to DC power and the fan did not run and I noticed current was really kicking in with hardly any voltage applied. So I disconnected.
This thing goes on the evaporator of my fridge. I think this motor is shot.
Shouldn't the fan blades spin loose and free without any quick stopping?
When I hook up all the wires together or any two wires, the fan blade spin does not show any change?
It says 9.75 volts DC on it.

Not at all, on a non-sensored motor the 3 wires can go in any order, if it's spinning in the opposite direction of what you need simply swap ANY 2 wires and it will reverse the rotation but any wire can go to any lead. On a sensored motor you must connect A-A, B-B and C-C if the sensor harness is connected, if you do not hook up the wires in order on a sensored motor it will not operate correctly.

HI, GREAT VIDEO, THANKS. CAN A 500 WATT, BRUSHLESS MOTOR BE HOOKED STRAIGHT TO A BATTERY WITHOUT ANY OTHER COMPONENT? DOES A 500 WATT BRUSHLESS MOTOR HAVE TO BE HOOKED UP TO A CONTROLER? THANK YOU.

Must have a comtroller because they switch alternatly to make it run because without brushed moving on the armeture to switch it manual by motor rotation it's done using the controller.

I have a bigger motor, a me-1306 BLDC. 12KW. Do you know a controller that will work with it?

I would look at Kelly-Controllers for that type of motor.

What does it mean when you switch the two wires out in the motor doesn't spin but when all the wires are hooked up normal and it spins in reverse

      Is this a sensored motor?

I have a Drone motor with 3 wires all the same colour..which is the Signal wire....?

    • @RCJuice
      @RCJuice  3 ปีที่แล้ว

All 3 wires are motor power, simply connect all 3 wires in any order and if it's spinning in the opposite direction that you want, then just swap around any of the 2 wires and it will reverse direction. There are no "signal" wires on these motors, some car motors are sensored and do have a separate harness for the sensor connection, but of the 3 main wires all are just phase wires and on a non-sensored motor like an aircraft motor, the wire order does not matter other than for direction of rotation.
