The RDs are some of the greatest bikes of all time. This is the pinnacle of the group.
I'm 54 and grew up had a yam jt1 mini endure 60 and an rd 60 I wish I could be involved with your program. My 39 years as a mechanic are going to waste as I'm a dinosaur now and have no marketable skills for this day and age. Keep on guys I just subbed!
My neighbor was a Yamaha dealer brought one home brand new with 50 miles on it. He let me test drive it back in my motocross days. I wheelied it for 3/4 mile effortlessly. The good old days for sure!! 😁😁😁
Can't believe the Daytona special is 40 years old now,yes of course I had one back in the day,

Here in Quebec, they were called the widowmakers.

It's a crying shame that we no longer have 2-strokes for the road in this country and in our dirt bikes they are becoming more rare....a lot of power in a small package. Although I believe in less pollution, I cannot believe that a few 2-strokes ridden by people could put out anywhere near what we let industry put out in a few minutes. Additionally, there are ways to clean the 2-stroke up a lot.
Cool bike.
Any better rd350 or 400's around??? I'm outta ma.
My dad had one, I wasn't allowed to ride it. He was looking out. Get that motor in the high RPM and everything changes.
Is this for sale ?
How much you asking for it? How do I contact you?
Will vibrate the hell of out of you ... but its exciting
Can I send you a resume?
Goin 60 in a 25! I cant drive 55!
I need me find me one.. rz rd doesnt matter. Way easier to work on.
So sick. My dad had one and he would take me with him when ia was a toddler.
I had one of these in 82 when I was 18, I can't tell you how much I loved that bike. There is nothing like a 2 stroke road bike, if you'd had one you know exactly what I'm talking about. This put a BIG smile on my face, thank you
