Love your ingenuity father. I remember doing the car thing after Sandy. Had to have cash to get gas as the CC machines were down. I also used outdoor solar lights in the house at night.
Lived in Florida for 10yrs now I'm in New Mexico and it is dry here but in Florida sure it's bad but it's almost expected they are prepared
