The cool category was the one I was able to beat. Everything else is extremely hard

Tip for winning the Cleverness Master Rank Contest against Lisia use a Gardevoir with this moveset Calm Mind, Stored Power, Draining Kiss & Destiny Bond also make sure Gardevoir holds its Mega Stone as that gives bonus points

Me too but my Mega Blaziken completly wiped the floor with them. Just like he did it with the competitors in all the different categories.

Rayquaza was such a good pokemon for this part. Being able to have the ability to Mega Evolve as well as hold one of the scarves was such a boon.

I absolutely adore the Contests I have got quite a few Pokemon with the Gold Contest Memory Ribbon by winning all 20 Hoenn Contest Ribbons (Gen 3) and all 20 Sinnoh Contest Ribbons (Gen 4) add the 5 from ORAS which gives you a total of 45 Contest Ribbons and the Contest Star Ribbon gives a total of 46 Contest Ribbons.

Ahhh, ORAS. I remember after the story I just grinded the appeal of my pokemon for the contests and modifying movesets. It was like completing the pokedex was just an afterthought and the pokemon contests were where it was at.

I remember that pokemon contests are super exciting, what I like about contests is that it is not about strength if not, everything is about technique :) in a real battle a slowpoke would not beat a pikachu, but in contests a pichu will can beat Arceus.

She was no challenge for me. My Swampert dominated her. But man, Pokemon contest is still great.
She really isn't that difficult. Max out your contest condition, get the scarves from the Pokemon Club Chairman, and use TMs and the Move Tutor to get a decent combination for your Contest Category of choice.
I pretty much challenged her most with my Eevee team. I did beat her with my mega altaria on the beauty contest to give her a taste of her own medicine.

This took me 3 attempts, I had to play the game by her book and Mega to win...because if that ball of fluff she has Megas...it tends to end after that XD Im so proud of Sasha (my character at the time) for becoming the idol she eventually really wanted to be, and for beating her best fri-enemy.

It was interesting to see Pokemon Contests returning in the Hoenn Region, but in full honesty? My vote goes to Sinnoh (DS Version, haven't played the switch version jsut yet) still in terms of Pokemon Contests as there are more challenges/rounds within the Contests! So compared to Sinnoh it feel like a missed opportunity to add some new features to them, still relatively fun though (Provided you know wtf you're doing)

I beat Lisia 2 weeks ago for the Lucarionite. Coolness contest with my starter Sceptile. Won on my 1st try.
